University of Rajasthan is a public/ government university located in Jaipur, Rajasthan. It is one of the oldest universities in the state. It was set up in 1947 as the University of Rajasthan in 1956. Spread in approximately 705.0 acres on Jawaharlal Nehru Marg, also known as the central spine of Jaipur, the university has always accorded a high priority to games and sports. Uniraj has a modern sports complex, well-stocked library and well-equipped medical facilities to students. It is one of the renowned universities in India. 

The UNIRAJ faculty members have established various international associations with several universities and research institutes from the Switzerland, USA, Italy, Germany, France, Australia, Norway, Canada, and others for undertaking collaborative and various exchange programmes. The accepted entrance exams are PIM-MAT, URATPG, MAT, XAT, GMAT, CAT, CMAT, ATMA, and others. CAT registrations are ongoing. To know which is a better choice, students must weigh both options based on important factors such as fees and placement stats. As per official sources, the fees to pursue MTech at UNIRAJ range from INR 1.7 Lacs to INR 4.8 Lacs and M.Tech from Kota University-UOK is INR 90,000. In terms of fees, Kota University is a better choice. 

Moreover, as per placement information present on Shiksha, the median package offered to M.Tech students at UNIRAJ and Kota University-UOK are INR 6.36 LPA and INR 4.57 LPA, respectively. In terms of package, M.Tech from UNIRAJ is a better choice.
