No, the University of Calicut does not offer admission to the M.Sc. in Forensic Science course without meeting the 60% eligibility requirement in PCM. According to the eligibility criteria, candidates must have a B.Sc. degree in Forensic Science or a relevant degree with at least 60% marks or equivalent grades. However, OBC/OEC candidates are eligible for relaxation up to 5%, and SC/ST candidates need only to pass.

Semester Grade Point Average (SGPA) is calculated for each semester. It evaluates students on the basis of overall performance in a semester. Whereas Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) is calculated at the end of the course. CGPA calculates overall performance of the student during the programme.
