Uttaranchal University offers several courses, admission to which are mostly entrance-based. For certain courses such as MBA and BTech, the admission criteria is entrance-based. Uttaranchal University admission is based on candidates' performance in the CUET UG entrance exam. Interested aspirants can apply and appear for the exam to be eligible for admission to UG courses. 

The CUET 2026 exam will be held tentatively between May 11 and May 31, 2026, in CBT mode.
