Value for money and my college life.

Placements: My college, Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University, has a placement of 80% and I think. I will also get placed in the year 2029 after the B.Tech degree, as the placement department works very efficiently, and the teachers tell us about what we need for our CV to get a good placement. The roles like software engineer and mechanical engineer have been chosen from our college.

Infrastructure: My friend is in the hostel, and he tells me about everything in the hostel and all. There are 4 boys' hostels and 1 girls' hostel. There are 2 people and a 3-person room. There is a mess that has a timing of 12:30 PM to eat. The labs are good, and every building has a library of its own, according to the subjects. There is an Ayurveda hospital in the college and a medical department also. There are games for students after college, using their ID, they can enter, and for hostellers, they provide sports equipment.

Faculty: The teachers are very knowledgeable and they teach us new things every day. They support us in every problem and help us make projects. They make the students ready for the industry, and the exams they take are moderate, you can pass the exams if you study hard.

Other: I love doing Maths, logical thinking, decision making, problem solving, and coding, so I chose this course. There are hackathons and thrills in every coding and thinking we can use our minds effectively. I wanted a friend who would force me to think for him or do things. There are fests every year, and there is a sports meet, and yesterday I played in sports. As of today, there is a treasure hunt on the occasion of Engineers' Day.

Overall, good returns on investment.

Placements: Approximately 60% students were placed. With the highest package 18 LPA, and the lowest 4 LPA, in TCS, Wipro, Infosys, innovation, above 60% students get internship in TCS, Wipro and other companies. Many other companies also visit our college for internships and hiring.

Infrastructure: Our campus has grounds for cricket and football, a basketball court, a badminton court, and many games organised by the college. College grounds have a good maintenance facility. The college ground surface is hard, and some minor stones on the ground. I suggest that the college staff also care about this problem.

Faculty: Teachers and faculty help us in our subject and in extracurricular curriculum. College curriculum is designed by UGC guidelines. In specialisation subjects, e.g. artificial intelligence and machine learning, cybersecurity, etc., students focused more on skills development.

Good college for BCA with average placements and above-average college life.

Placements: When it comes to placements in our college, I think it mostly depends on the student. College does bring some good companies with a 10+ LPA package. If you have good relations with your teacher and management, it will be beneficial in your placements. But don't think that everybody will get placed somehow.

Infrastructure: Well, we have to register for Wi-Fi, and labs are enough to complete the syllabus topics. It also depends on the subject, what type of lab you will get, but there are enough labs for the particular subject's needs. Classrooms have projectors and smart boards (for some courses, the library has all the books related to the courses. When it comes to the hostel, my friends are satisfied with the food and overall facilities, and the canteen is good too. Medicine and medical facilities are also available for sports. There's a badminton court where we play sometimes, and there is a big ground.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified in their field, but if you are not able to understand from a particular teacher, you can tell them. They are accepting students' feedback. Course curriculum is not relevant for the basics, it's enough, but not fully relevant for today's needs. But that's the case with every college, they train students for new-age skills in specialisation. As I am doing BCA in cybersecurity, I am more or less satisfied. Exams are very easy. You can pass them easily.

Other: You should follow the rules because management is very strict, and if you break any rule, you can face a fine, and if you try to study extra apart from your college, study, otherwise you will not be able to get placements easily.

The facilities are really good, and the faculty members are also very good.

Placements: The placement is very good in my course, and the package of my known person got was 18 LPA, and it depends on your skills, you can get more if you have potential.

Infrastructure: My department has its own library, and everything is well-maintained. The library and classrooms have projectors, and the process for issuing the books is very simple, all the books are available in the library. They provide books for the whole semester.

Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They are also very supportive of the students. The curriculum of this course is very relevant, and they also take students for industrial visits and many other guest lectures, which makes students industry-ready. Teachers provide question banks that help students a lot to prepare for their exams.

Other: They also organise fests and events, and many other activities on campus.

Not so much good, I think there are better options too at this budget and range.

Placements: About 30% of students are placed. Average package is 4 LPA, and they show the highest package of 50 LPA which is all fake. This year, the highest package is 12 LPA only, and not everyone is placed. Placement cell doesn't support that much to students and for everything they charge money.

Infrastructure: Food is not so much good. There are so much restrictions on food. They use low quality paneer, and provide only small amount per serve. Only breakfast is good, and dinner is not good heavy oil and spices are used. At the end of dinner time, they also mix water into the pulse.

Faculty: Teachers are not highly experienced in the field of what they are teaching. They appoint a fresh teacher who serves for 2 to 3 years only, and has much knowledge of the field. A teacher of digital electronics is appointed to teach DBMS, and they are not able to explain it properly.
