Absolutely dissatisfied because of no placement system like engineering colleges.
Placements: After 12th board from Science background, one have to appear in entrance exam conducted by state medical faculty of west Bengal. You have to secure good score or rank in the exam to get admission in government medical colleges. There are total 13 departments and Radiography is one of them. In my department, there are 35 seats for one year in our departments. Two years Diploma course with 6 month internship, total duration 2.5 years. Only 2000 per month stipend is provided during internship period. After passing out, you have to find your job by yourself. There is no campusing system like engineering. IPGMER is a most popular institution in Bengal, so students of this institution get priority in private hospitals for jobs. The Salaries is not much in this field. There are only 15-20k per month is given in private sector to freshers.
Infrastructure: There is not any hostel provided to Diploma students. If you are doing B.Sc. course, then you will get hostels. Besides we can use other facilities like canteen, play ground, library etc. There is free Wi-Fi available in our departments. Food in canteen is pretty good. One can play outdoor games as well with indoors.
Faculty: All Teachers are qualified doctors. MD Professors take our class. Their knowledeis huge. One can learn a lot of things from respected teachers. Students are prepared for practical experience beside theoretical knowledge. Class test or final exam is not so difficult. One can passed easily if he attend all classes and studied little bit. About 90% students passed in exam.
Other: I always want to be a doctor. The students who can not crack NEET it is a alternative for such students. The employee of our departments are called Medical Technologist. The guys who are interested in medical field can choose this if he/she failed in NEET exam. U can enjoying your life with some lovely college friends. One advise: government should recruit medical technologists regularly ( once in every year). .

Our college offers a good career for girls.
Placements: As it is a government medical college, every student here is placed at a private nursing home first with an average salary package of 2 LPA until they get the government registration and are placed in government hospitals. The top role offered is staff nurse.
Infrastructure: It is maintained well with many classrooms. It has labs for experimental purposes. There is no Wi-Fi in the hostel. Other than that, it has a large hostel divided into three floors for three years of students, containing approximately 100 students in each batch.
Faculty: Teachers are well-educated and knowledgeable. They are very helpful for academic purposes. Examinations are very hard. You have to study hard to pass any examination as it's a government college. The passing percentage is at least 50% to 60%.
Other: As it is a nursing course and as a girl, the nursing profession is easy for these days to get a job in the government sector. This course is very good for girls.

I will absolutely recommend this college to everyone.
Placements: 90% of people got placement from our batch according to their grades and performance in the interview. 70000-100000 is the range of average salary in private hospitals. Neotia, Get well and health centres are the recruiters.
Infrastructure: College should be cleaner. The teaching facilities are up to the mark and everything is good. The hostels were awesome every year the seaters are changed like in the first year we got triple seater room. In the second year, we got a two-seater room. The college is good enough with a sprawling campus and cooperative students.
Faculty: The college faculty is supportive. They help students understand and learn. The seniors are also very helpful. They guided us from the first day of the class.
Other: I chose this course as I wanted to help the people. They have many events and fests such as fresher's party for the students.
