Yes, XSRM is one of the best schools to do an MBA RM from. It has a legacy of 100% placements and a curriculum designed very keenly to make you understand the aspects of both general management and development of rural sectors.
You should get through the cut-offs of the course in competitive exams like CAT/XAT/X-GMT/NMAT first, and then prepare yourself for GD-WAT-PI.
The GD will have a time limit in which you will have to either speak for the topic provided or against it. Then you will have a Written Ability Test where the panel could give you a completely new topic to write about or summarize the discussion happened in GD. And finally the PI, where you will be asked about your interests and domain-related questions. The most pertinent question that always seems to be asked in the interview is 'Why RM?'. You should have a very clear and concise answer for this particular question.
You should also be well aware of the current affairs which will help you in all the three rounds.

It is always advisable to join full time PGDM/MBA general programme and not specialised one. If you are genuinely interested in that course than only join it because once enrolled than it will be difficult for you to change your domain. It is your career decision don't just go with the college brand do give more weight-age to course. I really don't know about the course but it seems to be really specific. Take decision wisely.

It depends on different IIMs or other Top B-schools, they have separate criteria for percentages in class 10th and class 12th.

Very low chance.
If you have domicile, then good opportunity but due to non-domicile very little chance. 27 months of work experience will give you chance to get a call for GD PI.

Absolutely not! Giving the CAT is a must, only if you are aiming all the IIMs. Else, you can appear for the other exams too like NMAT, CMAT SNAP CET, etc. as per your dream college(s):

Even silicon, ITER and CV Raman can be preferred only if you are not getting above colleges but getting into any other is just less than average. So choice is yours. Good luck. Hope it helps.
