The Central Board of Secondary education will conduct CBSE 12th compartment exam on July 15 in a single shift. Over 1 lakh students are expected to appear for compartment exam. Students are allowed to take the exam in one subject in CBSE 12th exam. The application for the exam will be released soon. Students need to apply online for exam. CBSE 12th Compartment Application Form 2026

CBSE Class 12 compartment application form will be released in June. The schools accepts list of candidates (LOC). Regular candidates cannot apply directly through board’s website. They need to apply through schools. Private candidates need to fill the application form and pay fee online.

CBSE 12th Compartment Exam 2026: Eligibility

Students who failed in one or two subjects can apply for compartment exam. The eligibility is given below.
• Those who have passed exam but wish to improve their marks in one subject 
• Compartment students of 2026 batch who failed in one or more subjects
• Last chance for those students who appeared in CBSE Class 12 and placed under compartment category
• Board offers three chances to clear compartment exam

CBSE 12th Compartment Exam 2026: LOC

This is filled by the schools for regular students. No changes, including additions or deleting the names or subjects, are allowed. The board will not receive application after the last date.

You can register for foundation course through ICAI BOS Portal.
