XIM University Bhubaneswar Cutoff 2025: Check CAT, XAT Previous Years Cutoff Percentiles

Till now, XIM University cutoff 2024 has only released based on CAT exam scores. However, considering the previous year, the MBA cutoff percentile through XAT Exam is 80. It is mandatory for candidates to have a valid score in XAT in order to be eligible for XIM University admissions.  There are multiple factors affecting the XAT score, including number of seatsat XIM University, Ranking of the university, number of candidates who have appeared for the XAT exam, the difficulty level of XAT and number of candidates who have passed the exam. XIM University Bhubaneswar admission to various courses is both merit-based and entrance-based. Admission to BTech, BSc, BCom, and BM is offered on the basis of a written test or interview conducted by the university. A candidate's past academic record is also considered at the time of final admission. The candidates have to qualify in CAT/ XAT/ NMAT or X-GMT to secure admission to MBA and Executive MBA programs. Final admission is subject to WAT and GD/ PI conducted by XUB Bhubaneswar. MTech admission is offered completely on the basis of a valid score in OJEE. For a PhD, candidates need to take UGC NET, followed by an interview. Any other equivalent national or state level examination qualified candidates are also eligible to apply.

It is not possible to get admission at XIM University with 90 percentile through CAT Exam. As per the XIM University cutoff data, the required cutoff for CAT exam was 91 for the General AI category candidates.

There are 60 seats available for BBA LLB (Hons) at Xavier Law School Xavier University Bhubaneswar. The college offers a 5 year integrated law programme every year for 60 Students/each year. The faculty to student ratio here is 1:20. This academic programme is recognised and approved by the bar council of India.

The duration of the BCom course at Xavier University is three years, which is bifurcated into six semesters. These include subjects like Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry. Apart from this, applicants also require a valid score in JEE Main entrance exams or Xavier Engineering Selection Test, XEST. The selection is based on the entrance exam score, performance in personal interviews, and Class 10 academic records as well as Class 12 academic records. All these need to be fulfilled to obtain a seat under the BTech programme.

CAT cutoffs are usually not announced with the CAT result. The CAT cutoffs are also not released to the public.

They are published after a few days of the result announcement when the IIMs and other colleges start their shortlisting process. The IIMs opens their shortlisting window based on the CAT cut-offs two to three days after the result announcement. The CAT percentile of candidates shortlisted for the Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview (PI) can be considered the cut-off for that IIM. For example, if a candidate with a CAT percentile of 99 belonging to the General category is selected for the WAT/GD-PI of IIM Calcutta, then the CAT cut-off for IIM Calcutta is 99 percentile. Only those candidates who make it to the WAT/GD-PI round of IIMs will get to know the cut-offs.

XIMB domicile cut off for XAT generally range around 80 to 50 for admisison to the MBA porgramme. XIMB Bhubaneswar XAT cut off 2024 is yet to be released. However, considering the past years' trends, the expected XAT percentile for XIMB will range between 90-93 for the General All India category students. This is the estimated range and the actual cutoffs could be higher or lower.  

The total number of seats for BTech offered by XIM University is 120 for the academic year 2024. Although, for the admission process, candidates have to mandatorily register through the JoSAA councelling for BTech seat allocations. In each section, candidates need to provide relevant documentation for the verification process. 

The BA LLB programme is a five-year course offered at the XIM University. This integrated programme will equip students with a multi-dimensional understanding of law, whether conceptual or practical, which would lead to careers in Law, Consulting, and Academics. Core legal subjects with interdisciplinary studies are part of the curriculum, which ensures well-rounded education for these graduates. The BA LLB programme consists of 10 semesters. At the undergraduate level, the university is offering a full-time, five-year BA LLB (Hons) programme.

No, BTech seats cannot be availed of without the entrance exam at XIM University. Admission into UG programmes at XIM University, including BTech, is based on the JEE Main scores. Furthermore, admission to the BTech course is based on registration for the JEE Main, appearing for the examination, and obtaining a valid score. Subsequently, the seats are allotted by JoSAA counselling, based on merit, that too with regard to JEE Main scores, in multiple rounds.
