Q: What is the eligibility criteria and selection process for admissions to ITM institutes?

A: To be eligible for admissions, student must be graduate with minimum 50 per cent and must have taken one of the five entrance test (CAT, XAT, MAT, ATMA, CMAT).

And, selections are made basis composite marking system based on academic scores, entrance exam scores, Micro Presentation (MP) and Personal Interview (PI) performance.

Q: Which books should I refer for preparation of CAT and CET?

A: The exam is divided in four sections Logical Reasoning (LR), Data Interpretation (DI), Quantitative (QT) and Verbal. There are many books available in the market such as Arun Sharma, RK Agarwal. You may refer either of them for preparation.

Q: Can I get admission in 2020 after appearing for MAT in May 2020?

A: Yes, you can apply after MAT 2020 for the May session. However, the last date to apply for scholarship is January 20 next year. After this a scholarship exam has to be undertaken by a student to be eligible for scholarships.

Q: Is there any registration charge?

A: Yes, an application charge of Rs 1,500 has to be paid at the time of registration. And, a demand draft of Rs 25,000 to be submitted on the day of MP and PI.

Q: What is the fee for a two-year degree programme?

A: The fee amount is Rs 8.95 lakh for two-year programme, including international immersion. Bu the fee also varies basis campus and courses.

Q: Can you share some more information on scholarships? And, does college assists in getting loans?

A: ITM Business School grants a limited number of merit scholarships. The awards range from 10 per cent, 25 per cent, 50 per cent, 100 per cent of programme fees. The last date to apply for scholarship is January 20 next year. Students can apply for scholarships after this as well but they have to undergo a test. And, yes the college do assists in facilitating loans to students.

Q: What specialisation a student must choose who aspire to be an entrepreneur and have a career in business analytics and general management?

A: For a student who aspires to be an entrepreneur must take Marketing as specialisation. He will be able to learn skills on budgeting, marketing plans, strategies and financial plans. And, for a student who aspires to have career in business analytics or general management can opt for Supply Chain and Operations, Business Analytics and Fintech.

Q: Can you name some of the top recruiters who have participated in placements? And what is the average package offered to students?

A:  Companies such as Deloitte, Kalpataru, Amazon, Landmark Dubai, City Bank Dubai, Shoppers Stop, American Express, Saint Gobain, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, TCS, Berger Paints, Nomura, Anand Rathi, ICICI Securities, Capital First, L&T Finance visit the campus for placements. The average package of last year was Rs 8.5 lakh per annum.

Q: Does college provide hostel facilities? If yes, what is the fee for the same?

A: Yes, we do have hostel facility at Navi Mumbai and the fee is Rs 3.25 lakh.

Q: Can you please share some GD/PI tips?

A: To prepare well for GD/PI, one must be ready with 'must know questions'. Apart from this the body language is expected to be positive with confidence. And, also the candidates must be honest to themselves and the recruiters.
