MAH CET 2022 preparation

MAH MBA CET is a moderate difficulty level exam and if you have fair practice of Reasoning, Verbal Ability and Quantitative Aptitude, then you can crack it with 2-month preparation. A 2-month preparation plan for MAH MBA CET must be centered around important topics and practice sessions. Since MAH CET 2026 is scheduled on April 6, 7, 8 and May 9, you can use your experience of CAT, XAT, SNAP or CMAT for CET preparation. 

Those who start preparing for MAH MBA CET exam from the scratch 2-months before, should focus only on the important topics and practice lessons. They can directly start with practicing previous years’ MAH MBA CET question papers to know which topics dominate the exam. Study on those topics only. Once they have a good grip on them, then they can practice other topics as well.

MAH CET MBA question paper consists of 200 MCQs on Logical Reasoning, Abstract Reasoning, Quantitative Ability and Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension. 10 Tips to Crack MAH MBA CET 2026 in 60 Days

Chart out a MAH MBA CET preparation plan 

First of all, make a preparation plan which includes weekly and daily targets. MAH CET 2026 exam pattern and syllabus are similar to other MBA entrance exams, so you are not entering into an unfamiliar zone. Take a look at the MAH MBA CET syllabus 2026 and analyse your strengths as well as weaknesses. Most of you must have appeared for a national level MBA entrance exam already, such as CAT 2025, XAT 2026 or CMAT 2026, so you would essentially need some more practice of CET specific VA, QA, DI and LR.

Break the MBA CET prep-plan into phases

Divide 60 days into phases. In the first month of MAH MBA CET preparation, focus on covering important topics and tying loose ends from your previous experience of entrance exams. In the second month, focus on practicing mock tests and revision. You may further chart out a weekly plan for each of these month. For example, dedicate one week each to each section of MBA CET 2026. In the second month, divide your study hours into – MAH CET mock test and analysis and topic-wise revision.

Focus more on weak areas

You may not want to lose out on the same topics like in other entrance exams. With MAH CET MBA being conducted in March/April you have two extra months to work on your weak areas. If you are lacking in RC, read a variety of RC passages. If you are facing difficulty in Quant, dedicate more time to understanding important concepts. Practice important topics of MAH CET syllabus in a focussed manner.

While focusing on weak areas, do not ignore your strong areas. Take out an hour every day to revise concepts and solve a few sample questions. Revision is very important to MAH CET as out of 200 questions, about 100 questions are asked from Reasoning. A section, which cannot be mastered with formulas but with practice only. 

Refer to MBA CET books and study material

Although CAT books are are the best source of any MBA exam preparation. It is advised that you refer to books for MAH CET exam. The syllabus of CAT and MBA CET are similar but not same and there are certain topics and type of questions which are exclusive to MAH CET. Refer to the following books:

Practicing mock tests is of utmost importance while preparing for an entrance exam in a short span of time. Since you are dedicating only two months for MAH CET 2026 preparation, do not wait to complete the syllabus. Start solving MAH MBA CET mock tests alongside. It will be immensely beneficial to you if you keep in touch with your peers, share ideas, shortcuts and tricks.

Make short notes for revision

Make notes of every practice session. Jot down important findings, tricks, short cuts and formulae you come across while studying a topics or solving a question. Revise these notes in the last three to four days before the MAH CET 2026 exam. You should put aside an hour for revision daily. 

Practice MAH MBA CET question papers 

In the last 2 weeks of the MAH CET 2026 exam, practice previous years' question paper. Note and analyse the weigtage of topics and sub topics. Practice questions from those more. See which type of questions are your strength area. Make the exam day strategy accordingly. Set a target for yourself section wise, for example, how many questions to solve in LR, QA, AR or English section. Practice a mock or two according to your exam strategy to see if it works or not. Finalise an exam day strategy by the last week of the exam day.

No, you cannot show MAH CET city intimation slip at the test centre for entry. Candidates will be allowed to appear for the test only if they present the hard copy of the admit card and photo ID.

In the MAH CET city intimation slip only the name of test city is mentioned along with candidate's name, DOB, application number and exam. No other detail is mentioned on it.

MAH BBA CET score is the total marks awarded to the candidate out of 100. It is calculated based on every correct attempt. MAH BBA CET percentile is calculated from rank as compared to rest candidates.
