MAH CET MBA 2023

Maharashtra Common Entrance Test or MAH CET for MBA/MMS, conducted by the State Entrance Test Cell, is one of the popular state level management exams. This exam is conducted annually for admission to over 300 MBA colleges in Maharashtra. Since MAH MBA CET is a state level exam, preference is given to candidates belonging to Maharashtra. However, MBA aspirants from the rest of India are also eligible to appear in the exam. It is in fact, a preferred choice of many candidates from rest of India because of Maharashtra cities like Mumbai, Pune and Nagpur are considered the hub of Management education.

MAH MBA CET exam is conducted over three days at various examination centres. This year, the MBA CET 2024 exam was conducted on March 9, 10 amd 11, 2024, and the MAH MBA result 2024 was announced on May 15, 2024. Admission through MAH CET is done through a Centralised Admission Process (CAP) which is conducted by the exam conducting body. With the announcement of exam result, candidates will need to start preparing for the CAP. 

Q:   Is PUMBA good for MBA?

A:

As per the PUMBA placement report 2023, the highest package for MBA stood at INR 18.97 LPA, which was 5% higher in comparison to 2022. The PUMBA MBA average package also rose from INR 8.10 LPA in 2022 to INR 8.85 LPA in 2023. Out of 173 students who opted for 2023 placements, 161 were placed in top-notch companies. A total of 167 offers were distributed by the 104 companies that participated in the 2023 drive. The number of companies participating companies increased from 97 in 2022 to 104 in 2023. However, the number of offers has dropped from 175 in 2022 to 167 in 2023.

The MAH CET CAP 2024 schedule will be announced in June 2024. MBA CET CAP is an online counselling process, in which seats are allotted to candidates on the basis of cut offs fixed for admission. The minimum MAH MBA CET cut off for admission varies from college to college, but ranges between 50-99 percentile. The cut off for top 10 MBA colleges in Maharashtra through CET is usually 97-99 percentile. MAH MBA CET Admission Process: Centralised Admission Process (CAP) 2024

Admission to MBA colleges accepting MAH CET MBA score is done through a Centralised Admission Process (CAP). The Maharashtra State CETCell  conduct the CAP in online mode and some activities are to be done offline. Under this process, candidates who clear the MAH CET exam, have to register online for CAP. The State CET allots seats to candidates at their preferred colleges on the basis of MAH MBA CET cut offs fixed by the admission authorities. Those who are allotted the seats, are then required to visit the college and complete the admission process within the stipulated time.
