My Passion for the Course
I chose this course when I found myself getting interested in softwares. Picking Computer Science and Engineering for my undergraduate studies felt like the right move. BITM is perfect for me because of its focus on quality education and top-class faculty.
I truly believe my passion will provide me with success, and my interest in Computer Science and Engineering proves this point. I get excited when it comes to learning about things such as Java, and Python, and also seeing how they can be applied in the real world, whether it's through problem-solving or working on mini-projects.
This course has elevated my understanding and love for this field. By studying CSE, I'm regularly learning about the latest software developments.
The College Admission Journey
Getting into BITM was a journey. I took entrance exams such as KCET and COMEDK but didn’t secure a seat initially. I didn't attend any coaching classes, but I studied on my own. When I look at other colleges such as RV and PES University, BITM has always been more attractive because it is one of the best colleges in the Karnataka region, and also because it is near my hometown.
College Life
BITM has changed me for the better. I have gained knowledge about CSE and important life skills such as teamwork, time management, and being adaptable. Interacting with friends and my teachers have also helped me a lot. I have not been involved in clubs and events but rather, I have improved on my personality, which I believe made me more sociable.
Every day BITM offers me to learn new things. I love my classes in subjects such as Cyber Security, DSD&CO, and operating systems. The teachers make learning for students engaging, and many of the teachers have over 15 years of experience here, with some even holding PhDs. While I don't participate in many extracurricular activities or events, I am always excited about the fests and functions organised by the college.
The college has such a culture which brings people together. Friendships among fellow students and faculty members are very close. The great learning environment and wide network of people having similar interests are some of the best things about this college.
Overall, BITM has been great for me; it has helped me interact with many others and given me memories that I will remember for a lifetime.
