Hostel: fee and facilities in Symbiosis International, Deemed to be University (SIU), Noida -

Due to a lack of infrastructure, the hostel facility at SIU is only available to female students in their first and second years.

Symbiosis International, deemed to be a university (SIU), Noida has a four-storey girls' hostel with amenities such as-

1. Each room is divided into three-seaters where the student has to share the room with three roommates; there is no separate provision for a single room in the hostel.
2. Every single student gets the facility of a study table and a chair, or we can say, a study table for their separate studies.
3. The hostel room is well equipped with an air-conditioning facility on all the floors, and each student gets a separate remote to control their own room air conditioner without any interference.
4. In each room, the facility of 24x7 hot water through a geyser is provided and there is no issue of water in the hostel.

5. A separate entertainment room is designed for the students in order to provide them with games and other facilities.
6. SIU, Noida doesn’t compromise with the studies of the student and, therefore, they have designed a separate room for the student to study inside the hostel.
7. The hostel is well protected by the security guards at the main gate as well as on every floor, and the wardens also take rounds in the night to safeguard the students in the hostel.
8. In order to take care of the health of the students in the hostel, there is a health centre provision. In case of an emergency, the hostel has a tie-up with Fortis Hospital Noida also.
9. The hostel has a mess facility for the students with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. The meals are divided into 4 types: breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner, with no time limit to eat the food.
10. Other facilities: inside the hostel there is a Nescafe stall and a food plaza, which are on a paid basis.

You need to pay the hostel and mess fees for your ongoing academic at the time of admission through a demand draught to be drawn in favour of 'Symbiosis Receipts Account’ payable at Noida. Related details are as follows:       

The hostel and mess fees applicable to all the students studying on respective campuses will be the same, irrespective of the year in which they are studying. If you have already paid the hostel deposit, then you'll pay the first instalment of INR 1,22,650/-. The first instalment is to be paid at the time of admission, while the second instalment is due on or before the start of the next semester.

The college doesn’t have any transportation facility of its own, but in order to commute to the Noida market area, you can take a shared auto. In order to travel towards Delhi, there is a well-connected route with the metro and cabs like Ola, Uber etc.

According to a survey, the food provided by the hostel is pathetic and not up to standard, and the rooms are congested in order to accommodate three people at a time. The fees charged by the hostel authorities are excessive, and the facilities provided are not as good as what we can expect for this amount. The hostel has strict rules in order to make the campus safer. The last time for entering the hostel is 10 o'clock.
