Unmaad 2022: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore MBA students are all set to conduct an annual cultural festival, ‘Unmaad’, from March 4 to March 6, 2022. The theme of Unmaad 2022 this year is ‘Beyond Reality’. The candidates participating in the fest have to think beyond the usual to grab some eyeballs.

Amid the ongoing pandemic situation, the b-school has decided to conduct the cultural fest via virtual mode. The online event will include programmes such as B-School of Rock (music), Cine-topia (dramatics), Footloose (dance), Haute Couture (fashion) and more. Mr and Ms Unmaad (informal) will also be crowned during the fest.

The IIM Bangalore cultural festival is scheduled to start with an enthralling performance by Rahul Dua. “The pro-show night on March 6th will feature ‘The Yellow Diary’, followed by a performance by Mohit Chauhan,” said an official statement released by IIM Bangalore.

The audience will be inspired by experience-driven speeches from former union minister Subramanian Swamy, movie director Vidhu Vinod Chopra, actor and screenwriter Brijendra Kala, and Gauranga Das, director of ISKCON Eco Village.

Recently, IIM Bangalore concluded its final placement process for the institute’s PGP and PGPBA batch. IIM-B placements 2022 recorded a total of 662 offers during the lateral and final placement drive. The placement process saw 100 percent placement for the IIM Bangalore students. The official statement released by IIM Bangalore informed that the highest number of offers came from the consultancy sector with Accenture offering the highest number of job roles with 51 offers followed by Boston Consulting Group which offered 30 job roles.

A:

Post Graduate Programme or PGP offered by IIM Bangalore is a two-year full-time residential course. Candidates pursuing PGP from IIM Bangalore are awarded an MBA degree. The programme lasts for six trimesters, spread over two years, with a summer project inclusive. 

The course is offered in two specialisations, namely General and Business Analytics. The duration of the course is spread over six trimesters across two years, with a summer project intermediary.
