IGNOU January session 2021 admission re-registration process extended

IGNOU January admissions 2021: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) extended the re-registration process for the January session. According to the announcement made by IGNOU, the candidates can now apply until January 31 through the website, i.e. ignou.samarth.edu.in. Candidates must note that earlier the re-registration process was supposed to end on January 16. The re-registration process is applicable only to students enrolled in undergraduate/ postgraduate /semester-based programmes of two-three years duration. According to IGNOU, the candidates were allowed to register for the next year/ semester of the programme irrespective of whether they have appeared in the term-end exam of the previous semester.

How to register for IGNOU January admissions 2021?

In order to apply online, the candidates need to visit the website of the Open University, i.e. ignou.ac.in. On the homepage, click on the admission tab. Use credentials to register. Complete the form with the necessary details and deposit the requisite fee. Once the admission form is submitted online, the students can track the progress of their admission. A message is sent on the mobile number and email ID registered with the system once admission is confirmed.

Meanwhile, IGNOU also extended the last date to submit the assignments, project reports, fieldwork journals, dissertation, and internships until January 31, 2021, for the December term-end examinations 2020 (TEE). “Submission of Assignments for the Term End Exam, December 2020- both online and physical submission, extended upto 31st January, 2021,” read an IGNOU statement. It further stated: “Submission of Project Report, Field Work Journals, Dissertation, Internship, etc., for the Term-end Examination, December, 2020- both for online submission and physical submission extended up to 31st January 2021.”
