IoT will become an inseparable part of our daily lives in the coming decade. Be it medical services, industrial use, household, entertainment industry, defence services or name anything.

The comfort level and ease will be the driving factors of this technology which will not allow humans to stay away from it. It is making our lives better in so many ways, and it will likely continue to do so. Along with the problems we know we have, it is solving problems we didn’t even realise were a problem – that is until the solution magically appeared using IoT.

The use of IoT in the practical scenario will yield a better and Smarter Urban development, Smarter Health care and Smarter Disaster Management.

Smart Urban Development

Imagine a life without daily fuss, right from getting up in the morning to tracking your sleep quality, tracking your daily exercise regime, automised planning for the day, futuristic weather conditions, available ration in your home, urgent pop up of groceries, your office meetings, Pending tasks and approvals, track record of your ward, medical scan reports of your parents, smart driving and smart eating.

With the help of IoT all this will be synchronised and customised also based on user need. Even today if we speak much of it is implemented in our offices, automobiles and finance. In fact, the data we are creating will help us to analyse and grow to leaps and bounds in the future.

Smart Health care

This is the need of the hour. With the growth of Pandemic, Corona has lead to the growth of research in the field of medical science. But still, there is a lot of scope with respect to IoT. The use of fitness bands and other health care apps have already entered our lifestyle in urban areas. IoT helps us work smarter, live smarter, and gain complete control over our lives, but it’s also supporting our wellbeing behind the scenes. Emerging consumer trends in IoT include smart activewear, smart athletic shoes, and connected vehicles that tell us everything from how close we are to the vehicles around us to the best route to take to avoid rush hour traffic.

Smart Disaster management

“No one can unfold the future”, but with the use of IoT devices and sensors, the possibility of future happenings can be predicted. Be it weather forecast, earthquakes, tides and any remote sensing activity, the work has started with the use of this technology.

IoT allows companies to reduce costs, increase safety, and improve quality from end to end, which translates to a win-win for everybody. As a result, consumer goods are less costly to produce, shipping is more predictable, and companies can grow, accelerate our economy while delivering a sense of satisfaction we can take to the bank.
