Being a Law student it was extremely important for me to learn effective communication, says K Chandana

Two years back I came to Gitarattan International Business School ( did not know it has a cool acronym GIBS). The memories of the first day are still so fresh in my mind. How often have I walked down the memory lane to re-live those golden days once more!  The fervent desire to witness guitars being played in the college corridors, wild winds blowing in the premises and the romantic encounters was not fulfilled…..but I received the invaluable treasure from GIBS which is far superior to what my innocent heart had desired. During my graduation at GIBS I came across people who changed me for the better. I made friends for life who gave me memories to cherish forever. When I think of the joy of eating together in college canteen, fun of copying the assignments and the thrill of meeting deadlines it brings a smile to my face. At  GIBS I learned a lot about myself. The co-curricular activities and cultural programmes at college made me aware of my presentation skills. Being a Law student it was extremely important for me to learn effective communication. While taking part in college activities unknowingly year by year I went through a metamorphosis. The transition from the first year to final year was so seamless. GIBS gave me a platform to develop my personality. My knowledgeable teachers enabled me to think independently and develop new perspectives. The vibrant discussions in the classroom always inspired me to explore legal issues further. The stimulating interaction with teachers and peers in the college premises triggered the zeal to know more. In a quest to gain the knowledge I acquired research skills as well.

One more thing which I would like to share it gives me immense pleasure to announce that I am getting into a company like Accenture is one of my biggest achievements of the year 2022. I would like to thank my college GIBS Rohini for providing me this wonderful campus placement opportunity and the company for their coordination and guidance during the whole recruitment process.

The much-awaited freedom which comes along the college life also entails the responsibility of making the best use of this newfound independence. When I look back I feel proud of my days at GIBS. My journey at GIBS made me believe that learning too can be a joyous experience.
