Being an Extrovert person, I try my best to be a part of each activity & event happening on campus, says Vishal
Being from a Business family background I was quite clear about studying Business Management. Pune was always my dream city for further education. So after my Class 10 from Ahmednagar, I shifted to Pune. I chose Commerce as my specialisation in Class 11 & 12. After Class 12, I was confused between BCom and BBA reason being, different suggestions coming from family, friends, and faculties. But lastly, I decided to do BBA. Till I decided to do BBA many of the colleges had closed admissions but then somehow I managed to take BBA admission in Sinhagad College, Erandwane, Pune. In BBA, I did many things besides my academics such as I was part of NSS, the Student Welfare department & the College Cultural Team. I had joined IMS Coaching classes for my management entrance exam preparations. I decided to pursue MBA ahead. But during my preparation, my mentors helped me to choose between MBA & PGDM, so I got clear about doing PGDM and not MBA as it is a more practical exposure oriented programme. And so forth I was looking for PGDM colleges in Pune. During one of the sessions on College Selection in IMS classes, I came to know about Lexicon MILE. I had options like Indira College, Balaji Institute, PIBM, RIIM and Lexicon MILE. After talking to many faculties, senior students, and people from the education sector, I decided to be a part of Lexicon MILE. The very first thing I was impressed about was their equal importance given to academics and extra curriculum.
The second thing I liked is Induction Programme which helps students to explore themselves. Student-centric approach, Industry trending certifications, Personality Development programmes were my kind of attractions and that made to choose this college.
The very first thing I was impressed about was their equal importance given to academics and extra curriculum.
Before finalising Lexicon Management Institute of Leadership and Excellence, I started connecting with students and alumni of different institutes from whom we can get the most genuine feedback. I could not appear for the CAT exam so, I started focusing on CMAT. In January I gave my CMAT and got 78 percentile. I started my admission process for Lexicon MILE. I was quite active in the extra-curricular during my graduation, and Lexicon MILE really appreciated that and considered it as one of my strengths. The admission counsellor helped me a lot and made the admission process very smooth.
Being an Extrovert person, I try my best to be a part of each activity & event happening on campus. And I am lucky to be part of Lexicon where I get many such things to be a part of. Talking about Academic classes, every class I love to attend but Marketing classes a bit more. Integrated Marketing Channel and Consumer Behavior, these two subjects excite me more and I love attending these classes without fail. Unfortunately, we had very little time together attending physical classes, but our college made us easy to adapt the online education system smoothly. I had volunteered in many events one of which was the Lexicon Bharat Award ceremony. I am also a part of the college’s Media & Marketing Committee. I am also a volunteer in one of the initiatives taken by Lexicon MILE that is C-19 relief working on Covid to help people.
If given a chance I want to work on Rural Education Empowerment, and I wish I get a chance to work on this dream project with Lexicon Group. The way Lexicon Group has been working in the education sector I have been admiring all of their work.

Even in the pandemic, students from other colleges were doing nothing other than online classes, Lexicon had helped us made the best out of it. We had a physical Induction programme of 10 days in Goa that too included in our fees. After that, we had three months of physical internship that helped me a lot in terms of getting close experience of the corporate world. I’ve become confident, bold and more skilful than before. Lexicon MILE has helped me to tap my potentials and to work on my weaknesses. From time to time guidance and support from my mentors, faculties and staff have helped me to get the best out of myself. I can see plenty of opportunities backed by Lexicon MILE.
A lot of plans are running through my mind and getting scratched in my personal diary. But the very first thing I wish to get is a good internship in an agriculture or education sector startup. Besides that, I’m planning to get certified as a student counsellor. I’m looking forward to getting connected to various organisations working in the Education sector to get me exposure.
