SYMBIOSIS INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY: NOIDA CAMPUS

Symbiosis International University, Noida is a branch of Symbiosis International University, Pune. The campus's central location in the Delhi NCR simplifies students' lives by providing convenient public transportation options. The campus size of Symbiosis International University (SIU), Noida is 10 acres. There are 2 buildings on the campus of SIU, Noida. One is the college building and the other is the girl's hostel building. The hostel facilities are not available for boys. The current campus of SIU is the temporary one because the new campus building is under construction. The college building has two blocks, which are SCMS (Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies) and SLS (Symbiosis Law School). Both the blocks have separate facilities, which include classrooms, faculty rooms, and a library.

Academic facilities:

There are three floors in the building of SIU Noida, which is divided into two departments; one is for SCMS and the other for SLS. Each department has its own separate digitalised classrooms with ACs along with other facilities. There is a separate seminar hall for different seminars and guest lectures, which has enough capacity to occupy 200 students. Both SLS and SCMS have computer labs and library facilities for students. There are two libraries on the campus, one for SCMS and the other for SLS, each capable of accommodating 250–300 students. The lab and library facilities are available for students 24/7. Committee meetings and other gatherings can also take place in the meeting room and study room. The moot court room is also there for the law students for inter and intra-moot court competitions organised by the university.

Co-curricular facilities:

Symbiosis University, Noida has an auditorium for all the events and co-curricular activities like SymFiesta (Annual Cultural Event). Events like dance competitions, singing competitions, debates, etc. are conducted in the auditorium. The auditorium is fully digitalised and has enough capacity for 300-400 students. There is no playground on the campus since the campus is under-construction but there are two gardens and a cafeteria inside the university campus. All the outdoor activities are organised in the garden and for the indoor games, there is an activity room and seminar hall where all the indoor games are organised. An amphitheatre is also there for outdoor events like Culturals, Garba night, prom night etc.

There are many regular events organised by the college for the students, like cultural evenings and sports evenings, to encourage extra-curricular skills for the students. Most of the events are organised and managed by the students themselves, with the help of the college staff and faculty. The moot court competitions and other academic competitions are also organised by the university in both online and offline modes.

There are various societies for co-curricular activities like dance contingent, drama society, and moot court society, which perform in inter-collegiate events and other competitions, representing the university in other institutes. There is a specific entrance process for being a member of each society.

Hostel and mess facilities:

Symbiosis University, Noida offers only one hostel inside the campus for girls. There is no hostel facility available for boys on the campus. The new campus and hostel are under construction for both boys and girls. The girl's hostel is well-furnished with AC rooms and has a capacity of 2-3 girls in each room. There is a separate study room and an entertainment room available inside the hostel. There are various games available in the entertainment room. The hostel has accommodation available for both SCMS and SLS students. The mess facilities are provided by the college, which provides four meals a day. The security and safety protocols are very rigid on campus for the hostel girls. There is a female guard available in the hostel all the time for the students in case of any emergency. Transportation facilities:

The Symbiosis International University, Noida campus is 14 km from Connaught Place, New Delhi. It is located in Noida, New Delhi. Within 2 km of the Symbiosis University campus, there are two metro stations available for transportation. The market is also within 2 km of the college for all the necessary items. The other necessary facilities, like hospitals, malls, and food courts, are also nearby. There are various other public and private transportation facilities available near the campus.
