Yes, the college offers the course in two specialisations. The offered courses are Digital Marketing and Fintech & Digital Banking. Other than this, a General BBA course is also available. Admissions in all specialisations are based on Class 12 merit scores. 

Earlier, SASTRA University application process was conducted in both online and offline modes. However, 2022 onwards, the process has shifted completely to online mode.

• Further, they have to go through the selection rounds and counselling process and then confirm their seat on payment of the admission tuition fee.

No entrance exam is required for admission into BBA programme at SRM IST Vadapalani. The admissions are done based on merit in Class 12th marks. Candidates are shortlisted if they have scored at least 50% aggregate in their qualifying exam from a recognised board. A simple process and no test requirement makes it easier for students to apply and secure a seat at SRM IST for BBA programme.

Shanmugha Arts Science Technology and Research Academy (SASTRA) and Periyar Manianmai University, both are deemed to be University located at Thanjavur.

Both the universities offers various courses and one such course is BBA. The duration of the course is 3 years with 6 semesters and the students are placed in different reputed companies like Zoho, Amazon, etc., . With average salary package of about Rs.2 Lacs - 4.5 lakhs.

The fee structure is slightly higher in SASTRA when compared to the Periyar Manianmai University but most of the students prefer SASTRA for it's quality of education and placement in the company with minimum 4 LPA.

SASTRA is accredited with A+  by NAAC and Periyar Manianmai University is accredited with B by NAAC.

Thus, I prefer SASTRA over Periyar Manianmai University.
