With theoretical study, you'll get practical training in yoga asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing techniques), meditation, yoga philosophy, anatomy, physiology, and related subjects.

Admission to most of the offered courses is merit-based and entrance basis is for a few courses. The university has twenty nine on-campus departments and centres that offers a 39 on-campus UG and PG courses. Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University also accepts national-level entrance exams such as MAT and CMAT for admission.
