Bihar Board is expected to release the BSEB Matric sample model paper 2026 for all subjects in November/December 2025. The Bihar School Examination Board has announced the class 10 exam pattern. A total of 80 cumpulsory MCQs are asked in the exam. On the other hand, a total of 10 non-MCQs are asked in the BSEB class 10 exams. 

The board is yet to announce the BSEB Matric exam pattern for the 2023-24 session. However, based on last year’s exam pattern, two types of questions are asked in Bihar Board 10th exams. These two types of questions are multiple choice questions (MCQ) and Non-MCQs such as short answer type questions and long answer type questions. Total 50 marks are distributed for objective-type questions. On the other hand, theoretical-type questions have a total of 50 marks. To pass the BSEB 10th exams, students need to secure a minimum of 30% in all individual subjects.
