Calling the notice unfair, the principal of a south Kolkata school, affiliated to the ICSE board, said that the decision is "absolutely ridiculous and unfair to the children. Can a school do this to its students? Instead, they could have used thermal guns to check the body temperature of candidates at the gate and keep a medical helpdesk nearby."

Another school’s head pointed out how the test result submitted on July 25 can be valid on July 1, as such tests need to be taken 48 hours earlier.

Meanwhile, the decision regarding the declaration date of the ICSE Results 2020 and ISC Results 2020 is yet to be released by the Council.
