The National Testing Agency (NTA) has activated the JEE Main 2026 session 1 registration link at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Eligible candidates can fill up the form online. The last date to submit the JEE Main 2026 application form is November 27, 2025.

This year, NTA has introduced several new features to the registration process. There is an Aadhaar-based verification of the details entered by the candidates. Moreover, students have to complete the mandatory live photo capture as well.
How to fill JEE Main 2026 Application Process?
- Registration: Candidates must fill in their basic details and create a password of their choice, which will be used for login. Once the registration is complete, candidates will get a system-generated JEE Main 2026 application number.
- Form-filling: candidates have to fill in the application form, choose exam centres and capture a live photo with a webcam or mobile camera by scanning a QR code.
- Uploading Documents: Applicants have to upload scanned photo, signature and a scanned copy of Identity Proof (for documents other than Aadhaar or DigiLocker).
- Fee Payment: Pay the application fee through Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
The JEE Main 2026 Session 1 will be held from January 21 to 30, 2026, while Session 2 is scheduled between April 2 and 9, 2026. The exam will continue in computer-based test (CBT) mode and will be conducted in 13 languages, including English, Hindi, and regional languages.
Candidates can edit limited details during a one-time correction window. NTA has also advised students to keep scanned copies of their photograph, signature, and category certificates ready before applying.

No, JEE Main application form can only be filled online. The application form of JEE Main is released only in online mode on the website jeemain.nta.ac.in. There is no option of filling the application form in offline mode. Candidates who do not have a laptop/personal computer can visit the computer centre/common service centres to fill the application form. While filling the JEE Main 2026 application form, candidates will also have to upload scanned image of their photo and signature. Candidates belonging to reserved category (Gen-EWS/SC/ST/OBC-NCL) also need to upload the category certificate.
