A: I was elated to see the result. The moment I saw the result a wave of relief and excitement rushed through me - it was a moment I had been working towards since a very long time. I felt an overwhelming sense of accomplishment. I felt deeply grateful and humbled. Sharing the moment with the people who believed in me made it even more special.

Q: Did you score what you expected?

A: Yes, I scored what I had expected.

Q: Please tell us something about your family background.

A: I come from a close-knit family that includes my parents, grandparents, and elder brother. My father works in the Tech industry, while my mother is a Professor of Engineering at a reputed University. Their constant encouragement and belief in me have been a major source of strength, especially during this crucial academic year.

Q: Please tell about the stream that you are targeting.

A: I target to pursue the Science stream and I am inclined towards Engineering

Q: What was your strategy to score above 95%?

A: My strategy was centered around consistency and discipline. I made sure I studied regularly right from the beginning of the academic year, trying not to fall behind at all times. Regular revision and tests helped me identify and work on my weaknesses, helping me build confidence over time. Eating healthy and taking time off when it made sense also makes a difference. That the result came over 95%, I believe is a result of these simple practices.

Q: Did you take any online or offline coaching?

A: Yes, I took offline coaching and it was of great help. I thank my school teachers and tutors who encouraged us to achieve beyond our limits.

Q: Who encouraged you the most in this journey?

A: My biggest source of encouragement was my family. My parents were my pillars of strength, always believing in me even when I had doubts. My elder brother is my confidante, critic and my friend all rolled into one. My teachers were extremely supportive and guided me whenever I needed help. My friends also played a big role—they kept me motivated and uplifted my spirits during stressful times.

Q: What was your routine during ICSE board exam preparation?

A: I used to wake up at 7 a.m, got ready for school and had my breakfast. After that, I focused on school, taking notes and clearing doubts. Then, I studied core subjects from 4:30 to 6:00 PM and practiced questions from 6:30 to 8:00 PM. I studied lighter subjects in the evening and planned for the next day before sleeping by 11:00 p.m.

Q: What are your future plans? Which career path are you aiming for?

A: I am aiming to pursue engineering. I have joined integrated classes to prepare for JEE and other entrance exams.

Q: What is your favorite subject?

A: English is a subject that truly piques my interest. Language encourages me to imagine and introspect. There’s a certain comfort and softness in literature that invites you to think beyond the tangible. Studying Shakespeare’s plays in school sparked my curiosity about the human mind and how people experience emotions differently.

Q: What is your dream college/institute?

A: My dream institute is IIT

Q: What are your future goals?

A: Beyond becoming a successful engineer, I hope to make a meaningful contribution to society. I want to be someone who makes a difference—and someone my family can be proud of.

Q: Please share some tips for students prepping up to appear in ICSE Board Exams 2026

A: It is essential to be consistent with studies from the beginning and be focused and determined. Practicing and referring to past question papers and tests can improve one’s score. It is very important to have faith in yourself and your capabilities and always have hope because the right mindset can make all the difference.
