Tamil Nadu SSLC Result 2023 Topper Shwetha. P scored a whopping 99% in Tamil Nadu Board Exam 2023. With a perfect 100 marks in two subjects, i.e. Science and Social Science, Shwetha has secured 99 marks in Mathematics, and 98 marks in Tamil as well as English, she has scored a total of 495 marks out of 500 marks. The Directorate of Government Examination (DGE) TN released the TN 10th Result 2023 today, May 19, 2023, on the official website, i.e. tnresults.nic.in.

Shwetha is a daughter of a daily wage earner. She credits all her success to the hard work that her father does. "I always use to see my father’s shoulder with pain and stretches when he used to return from his job, this motivated me to study harder and score good marks," said Shwetha. Talking exclusively with Shiksha.com, Shwetha. P from Ramakrishna Vidya Niketan Hr.Sec.School, shared about her TN 10th preparation strategy, future plans, tips for aspirants and more.

Q: Congratulations on your result! How was your reaction after seeing the results? Did you score what you expected?
A: I am shocked and surprised to see the results. As it was 495 marks, the first mark in the school history in the past, I take up the pride in defeating. Me and my family all are happy and thrilled at the same time.
Q: Please tell us something about your family background.
A: I come from a small Town in Chennai, My father is a Load man, my mother is a housewife, and my little brother is doing his 5th standard. I always use to see my father’s shoulder with pain and stretches when he used to return from his job, this of course motivated me to achieve to the fullest.
Q: Please tell about the stream that you are targeting?
A: I am aiming to take up Biology/Mathematics, i.e. Medical Stream.
Q: What was your strategy to score above 95%?
A: Revision is the key. It helped me rectify my mistakes. Making notes also helped me practice. I used to keep a close eye on my weak areas and have worked towards practicing and revising the same throughout my preparation. My studying time was not fixed, throughout my preparation, I studied at night as well as in the morning, whenever I got time. I used to begin my studies with fresh mind to grasp as much as possible.
Q: Did you take any online or offline coaching?
A: Coaching can never replace classroom learning. My only coaching is My School where my teachers and staff helped me a lot to fulfill my dreams.
Q: Who encouraged you the most in this journey?
A: My Parents encouraged me of course, still some of my relatives were making fun of me that I will not be able to score Good marks. This gained and motivated my Inner spirit to give the Best. And my school was the right platform in bringing out my success.
Q: What was your routine during TN 10th board exam preparation?
A: I used to wake up at 4 o clock in the morning and practice all the previous year question papers, this helped me a lot. Also, after school hours, I used to practice and revise everything that was taught in school. This practice helped me score well in TN 10th exams.
Q: What are your future plans? Which career path are you aiming for?
A: My future plan is to get into the Medical Field. I want to become a Doctor
Q: What is your favorite subject?
A: My favorite subjects are Mathematics and Biology.
Q: Are you planning to begin preparing for any entrance exam?
A: I am planning to crack NEET Exam and start my higher studies in Medical field.
Q: What is your dream college/institute?
A: I want to score good marks in the future also. KMC Medical College, Chennai is the place where I want to study after cracking NEET.
Q: What are your future goals?
A: I am aiming and going to work hard for a good career in the field of Science. My long-term goal is to construct a Hospital and help the needy.
Q: Please share some tips for students prepping up to appear in Tamil Nadu SSLC Exams 2024
A: Do not waste your time, stay focused, try to cover the whole syllabus. Set up a timetable, revision of previous year question papers is necessary! Daily revise and enjoy your reading. Do not overstress yourself.
