Class 10 students must be of 14 years. They have to submit a self-certificate stating that they have studied enough to do the NIOS 10th course. Students who have partially or fully completed their Class 10th degrees from other boards can also enroll for the Secondary level to improve their grades or complete their course. Students at the Secondary level need to take a minimum of 5 subjects, including at least one language, and no more than 2 languages. They can take a maximum of 7 subjects.
