Honestly, online coaching gets an unfair reputation just because a lot of platforms out there are simply selling you a Google Drive folder of recorded videos and calling it a course. The medium itself is not the problem — I have seen students crack CAT with 99 percentile through online preparation and struggle through expensive classroom programs simultaneously. What actually matters is whether the programme forces you to show up daily, has a real person answering your doubts within a reasonable time, and runs a mock test series that is taken seriously with proper analysis afterwards.
The one thing I will genuinely warn you about is t

SECAB Institute MBA admissions are entrance-based and the institute does not give direct admissions. Students have to appear for the selection rounds regardless even if they have CAT score. However, such students may be eligible for state-level scholarships in some cases. To know more, students can call the institute.

CAT is widely accepted across most the top-tier private MBA colleges in India besides all the top IIMs, but the scores alone are not enough, especially in institutes like Management Development Institute, SPJIMR, MICA, etc. There are interview rounds and candidate profile selections to go through after the CAT exam.
Not all top B schools in India, however, that are self-financed require CAT. Best would be going through our guide on Indian MBA colleges without CAT, which lists Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Delhi, JBIMS, Mumbai, FORE School of Management, and others.

To get a seat at Bennett University for the MBA/PGDM programme, students have to first attempt the CAT entrance examination, attain the qualifying percentile, and then proceed to the 2nd round of admissions, which may involve GD (Group Discussion) and PI (Personal Interview).
Based on old data, General AI students likely need a 25 percentile in CAT to make it to the next round, but this is just an estimate, not official.

Yes, students can get admission in Netaji Subhas University MBA without CAT. The university also accepts scores of other national-level management exams, such as MAT/ XAT, etc. Hence, CAT is not mandatory for NSU MBA admission.

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham accepts the CAT, MAT or the XAT exam for admission to the MBA course. Students can attempt any one of the aforementioned exams. After taking part in the exam, students have to attain a valid percentile.
Based on previous year trends, a percentile of at least 40 would be needed for the CAT exam. For the XAT and MAT, 70th and 80th percentiles are required. This is for the General AI category; other categories will have different cutoffs.
Note: The cutoff data is based on an estimate and is not official.
