Best college for mass communication.
Placements: Approximately 85 per cent of students were placed in our course. The highest package offered in our course was 12 LPA. The average package was around 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies were TV9, Times Now, India Today, etc. Almost all the students got an internship.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for our course were extremely good. Wi-Fi facility was available. A central Library was present. The quality of the hostel was awesome, but it's rare to get a hostel. A medical facility was available in the college. A sports and games complex was available.
Faculty: Professors of our course were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They teach unbiased journalism and are free to speak without any fear. The course curriculum was relevant. Students were working in Big Media House, like Aaj Tak. The semester examination was a little tough.

Review of Jamia Millia Islamia.
Placements: Students become eligible for placements from their third semester, and companies start visiting our campus by that time. Companies such as Viacom, Adfactor, Shareit, etc., visit the college. The highest salary package offered is from Viacom, which is 5.5 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA. Almost 40% of students get placed through our college, but the name of the college helps in getting off-campus job offers as well.
Infrastructure: The university's infrastructure is good. The university is well-maintained and has a friendly environment. Wi-Fi, computer laboratories with air-conditioning, photography labs with air-conditioning, print media room, large classrooms, and other amenities are available at our college. The new canteen's food is merely adequate. The hostels are not on the university's campus. However, the hostel's infrastructures, kitchen, gym, etc., are in excellent condition. Students have access to all facilities.
Faculty: The faculty-student ratio is 1:10. Every teacher has a Ph.D. The professors are courteous, helpful, and competent. Faculty members are always available to assist students. Every teacher has a unique way of instructing. Because our area is broad, and there are many job opportunities, we get industry exposure.
Other: I am currently pursuing M.A. in mass communication. The admission process is completed by the controller of examinations by conducting an entrance exam and interview. After graduation in any stream, you are eligible to take admission here. I chose this course because I am very interested in journalism and acting.

Review of Jamia Millia Islamia [JMI].
Placements: The placements are a matter of question for the students that get enrolled into this flagship course of AJK Mass Communication Research Center, JMI. Seniors have contradicting answers to the same. While some say MCRC will equip you well with the skills necessary to get good earnings, some say it's important to focus on the process and build a portfolio, needing not to worry about job hunts as one gets placed here.
Infrastructure: There are no complaints about the infrastructure. The university is known for the course and has provided the industry with alumni that are worthy of being where they are today. With excellent studios, audio and visual recording equipment and external accessories, the university won't fail to surprise you. However, hostels at the moment are closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The food served is great. Most importantly, medical facilities and medicines are free of cost for all JMI students at Jamia's own M.A. Ansari Health Centre.
Faculty: Our professors are industry experts with more than 10 years of experience in their respective fields and have a diverse range of ways in which we are taught. The university has a planned functioning. If you get into MCRC, you'll have to show some grit and work your way up.

Placements and campus life are good.
Placements: Our batch got 100% placements. MA mass communication is a very relevant course, and it has priority in placements. We had mandatory internships during the course, which helped to find good jobs. This course is very helpful to work in any work field.
Infrastructure: MA mass communication is one of the best courses in Indian universities. In Jamia Millia, campus Wi-Fi is full-time available. Classrooms and a library are very advanced. We get food from the university canteen at an affordable rate. It is not tasty, but it is healthy.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and highly qualified, and their actions are very relevant. The curriculum is much relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. The course is an area of interest for all students that helped them to score good marks in exams.
Other: I have chosen this course because MA mass communication is the best choice to get a good job easily. It is a professional course, and students get many scholarships. I got a university fully-funded scholarship. Our department has many events, including a welcome party, which was amazing.

Jamia Millia Islamia is an excellent university for career planning.
Placements: Based on exceptional performance during these years and the interview and tests done by the organisations who came to hire students as designers, at least 50% of the total students acquire placements by the conclusion of this year. The annual salary package offered exceeds 1.6 LPA. Designers were hired among the pupils.
Infrastructure: The university infrastructure is good. It is well-kept and is environmentally friendly. We have Wi-Fi, computer laboratories with air conditioning, photography labs with air conditioning, a print media room, large classrooms, and other amenities are available at our college. The new canteen's food is merely adequate. The hostels are not on the university campus. However, the hostel's infrastructure includes rooms, a kitchen, a gym, etc., in excellent condition. The pupils have access to all facilities.
Faculty: All the professors are courteous, helpful, and competent. Faculty members are always available to assist students. Every teacher has a unique way of instruction. Because our area is so broad and there are many job opportunities, we do get industry exposure.

The college has good faculty, and there is a scope for improvement in placements.
Placements: The college provides 100% placements. Majorly, there are off-campus placements. Companies like Viacom, Radio City, CNN, The Quint, etc., visited the campus for placements. Production-based roles were offered to students. I am not aware of the highest salary packages offered. The lowest salary packages offered was 5 LPA. Very few people got internships from college. However, the alumni network is very strong and well placed.
Infrastructure: The college provides premium quality equipment, labs and other facilities. Food is substandard. Hostel rooms are good enough. Wi-Fi facilities are excellent. I did not face any infrastructure related issues. However, the infrastructure of the college could be made more PwD friendly.
Faculty: Most of the teachers in the college are helpful and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is good. Lectures and practical methods were used for teaching. I got industry exposure. The course curriculum is useful and up to date and in tandem with industry fieldwork. The student to faculty ratio for our course is 25:1. Teachers are qualified, but some remain outdated in work experience.

It is a very good course in a good university.
Placements: The college provides very helpful assistance in the placements. The placement cell of the college is very effective and hardworking. Many students from the last batch got selected in top news channels such as NDTV, Aaj Tak, Zee News, ABP News and many others.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is one of the best things about the college. All the facilities like medical facilities and different grounds for different sports are available. Quality of classrooms is good, but the quality of the hostel is not that good, else the infrastructure is good.
Faculty: The faculty in our college are very good and helpful. Most of them are PhD holders. The teaching methods are very practical and not just theoretical. The college provides ample amount of industry exposure. We are taken on trips to various news channels to gain practical knowledge.

AJK MCRC, A place that provides students with a platform to success.
Placements: The placement procedure is absolutely the best. All the top companies start coming to college around late January and early February. The students from MCRC get placed in production houses like Viacom and Sony. The students get placed for content writing, direction, lighting direction etc.
Infrastructure: The MCRC provides the students with well-maintained editing labs. The students edit not only radio programmes, but also films and other projects. Also, this may be one of the very few institutes which also has a television studio. The students get a chance to experience the studio set up. The canteen is small. But comes handy for the students busy with shoots.
Faculty: The teachers here aren't just academicians, but also people who have worked in the field. They not only provided the students with so much of knowledge but also share their personal experiences to make it easier for the students. They don't just teach, and they get involved with the students from ideation to production to post-production.
Other: The Delhi Metro, the magenta line has made it easier for everybody to commute to Jamia. There are a lot of events held throughout the year for the students. The sports complex here in Jamia is undoubtedly the best.

There are media courses available in Hindi Department of JMI like BA Hons Mass Media Hindi & PG Diploma in Journalism (Hindi Medium). However, unfortunately, no Hindi medium courses are offered by AJK MCRC right now. Please let me know if this will help you.
