It is a growing experience, both personally and professionally.
Placements: Placements in our college were extremely easy to get into. There are ample opportunities for students interested in creating an impact. Companies were interested in hiring students with hard skills and talent to complete work. Many companies are arriving in the campus during the placement season. I was offered multiple internships. As part of my project, I got a chance to work with interesting photographers and video teams now working with huge brands.
Infrastructure: The campus is fun and spacious as opposed to many other smaller colleges in the area. There are multiple video projects in which we had to spend a lot of time finding the right location to shoot and the light settings to go with the scene for the advertisement. The canteen was always helpful when we want to have food. Food served was not bad.
Faculty: The fee structure was a little tedious to get a grasp on. The fee was on the higher side, and in the starting, it was a concern, but soon after the first and second placement, it paid for itself. It is not a huge investment if you see its benefits in the long run. Professors in our college are well-respected in their field. They are well-versed with their specialisation. There are many famous professors and lecturers to conduct guest classes.

Good Placement ratio but low salary package.
Placements: Apeejay is one of the finest institutes for journalism with a good placement ratio. Almost all the students got placed in good companies. Although initially, the packages offered are quite low. Minimum package offered was around 1 lac, while the average package was around 2.5 to 3 lacs, the students then move forward as per their capabilities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructural facilities are quite good in our college. Spread across 2 acres of land, our campus provides almost all the facilities. We have a high-end radio studio equipped with recording, editing and dubbing facilities. We have the latest software in our computers. The college also maintained high standards of hygiene. Canteen food is also good. Overall experience is above satisfactory.
Faculty: Our faculty is quite knowledgeable and well versed in their teaching subjects. The quality of teaching at Apeejay is very good and the college tries to give us as much practical exposure as possible. There were many guest faculty members that visited our campus. The curriculum has helped us in getting us industry ready.

Life at Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication.
Placements: According to the institute, only 40% of students are placed yet they claim to have 100% placement. Overall, not more than 2.4 LPA was offered. The top companies are Densu and Hawas, but none showed up this year. Limited students got internships at companies like Blue Stone, Adfactor, FCB Ulka, and M Wizard. The top role offered is client servicing.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are fine, large enough and spacious; the library is also good; and Wi-Fi is not available for all. I checked the hostel and found it quite shaddy; it's a collaborative hostel taken on, please; it's co-owned with students from different colleges; the mess was fine; and no other facilities are provided.
Faculty: The faculty is qualified and knowledgeable but is not friendly, understanding or supportive. Curriculum is fine but it doesn't make you industry-ready; only a few get the opportunity who are dear to the faculty. Exams are fine, not too difficult. If you know the concept, you'll pass.
