It has a good return on investment.
Placements: Of students who applied for placements almost 90% of them got selected. The top companies are TCS, PwC, and Accenture. Most students opt for higher studies and have good one-digit or two-digit ranks from almost all departments. We also find many great alumni of this college.
Infrastructure: Hostels are good, and ragging is rare, but it's far away from the tech campus. Other campuses are fine. Hostels are limited. But they have a lot of fun in hostels. The food is nice and it's at least better than the nearby PGs. The only problem is the distance between our house from the college and the hostel location is large. Many students should opt for PGs due to their inability.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified. The course curriculum is tough but helpful for higher studies. Exams are tough, too, but I think it's good as they resulted in so many one-digit and two-digit rankers for GATE from almost all departments. In IT, we have a lot of free time to prepare for almost everything because it is a chill branch.
Other: I chose this course as the value for money is too good. Like the average package ranges from 7-8 LPA. The fee for four years is Rs. 40,000. It is the best college we can get after Jadavpur University. I want to pursue higher studies so the success rate of this college is good, so I am here.

AKCSIT Calcutta University review .
Placements: 80-85% of students got placed with the average package of 5 LPA. The highest goes around 11 LPA. Companies that are coming to the campus are TCS, ACCENTURE, WIPRO, COGNIZANT, and SIEMENS. The students are very skilled; they crack the interviews. The rest of the people who are not interested in placements do M.Tech.
Infrastructure: Hostels have good facilities and good food. The fee of the hostel is 1700 per semester. The classrooms contain an AC and smart board. Labs are having more than 40 computers in a single room. The bathroom and the other floors are clean. Campus has a nice library, which is pretty big and sufficient.
Faculty: Faculty are well-behaving and give marks that a student deserves; don't cut the marks unusual. We must give exams twice, once internal and once final. The average SGPA maintained by students is 7.5 SGPA. The difficulty of an exam is moderate, with questions coming from the syllabus only but conceptual.

Decent infrastructure with good placements.
Placements: The placements are good, with most students securing a job in the 3rd year itself. Few opt for higher studies, while 90% of students get placed. The highest on-campus placement is 25 LPA, with 5–6 LPA as the average package for the IT department.
Infrastructure: The campus is very small with limited walking space, however, the infrastructure is good with well-equipped labs and a great library. The classrooms are clean and air-conditioned. It is a 5-floor building with a lift, and water purifiers are present on each floor. Cleanliness is maintained very well.
Faculty: Most teachers are qualified and knowledgeable, but only a few of them are actually helpful. The curriculum is relevant to the industry. Two exams are held each semester, excluding the practicals. The exams are moderately hard, with 35% as the passing mark.
Other: There are hardly any sports tournaments held, and the connectivity to the campus is not good.

This college has value for money. It has an amazing infrastructure.
Placements: University of Calcutta is the second-best university one can get through WBJEE. It provides good placements. The college is not 10 years old yet, which is why it doesn't have any NIRF ranking. The average on-campus placement is 8 LPA, the highest is 12 LPA, and the lowest is 5.5 LPA. Once it receives the NIRF ranking, placements may increase in the coming years. This statistic only considers students who participated in on-campus drives. Many CU students choose to pursue higher education, especially in departments like optoelectronics. About 90% of students opt for higher education, so placements vary from department to department. IT and CSE departments have 100% placements with salary packages of more than 8 LPA.
Infrastructure: CU outshines any GCE series colleges in terms of labs, equipments, Wi-Fi, toilets, air-conditioned and well-maintained classrooms, and a state-of-the-art library. The library is the most amazing part of the college. The college canteen is good. The food is not that expensive. The campus isn't very spacious, but other things make up for it. The hostel is in Rajabazar. It is 10 kilometers away from the technology campus. Regular bus service is available. They are well connected with the campus.
Faculty: Teachers are excellent. In the first year, there are 5 subjects and 3 teachers in each subject. All teachers have Ph.D.s, and many have international experience. All 15 teachers aren't the same, but most are helpful with our problems. Teaching quality is good. The course curriculum depends on the stream. JFT, IT, and CSE make students industry-ready. Optoelectronics and ECE are more research-oriented, but they're enough to prepare us for future jobs and interviews. CU is infamous for its exam difficulties. The pass percentage in a subject is 50%, which is higher than that at most universities, but that's manageable. Because there are more subjects, there is academic pressure.
Other: Every activity is conducted, but it is concentrated mostly at the main campus at Rajabazar. CSE, IT, and OOE students are only on this campus from their 2nd year onwards. The crowd is big enough and vibrant on the main campus, but it is small on this campus considering the smaller number of streams. Jadavpur Salt Lake campus is nearby. The most reputed course at CU is ECE, which includes the radiophysics department. The course is on par with many of the top institutions out there. Right after Jadavpur, it is the best place in terms of value for money. There is no ragging. Only serious and studious students can be found here.

Overall the college is good and one can surely take admission .
Placements: The package of our university is good and is increasing day by day, it is the 2nd most preferred college by students after Jadavpur University in WBJEE counselling, In B.Tech (information technology).
On campus placement record ( provided by seniors )
Average -8 LPA
the highest-12 LPA
the lowest -5.5 LPA.
But the placement are increasing day by day. Even though B.Tech was introduced in university of calcutta in 2015 still it become 2nd best college in WBJEE counselling.
Infrastructure: The campus size is not that big but the infrastructure is good, classrooms are well air conditioned, in overall has a good infra with modern look. Library has huge collection of books. And Wi-Fi speed is also good. Hostels are a bit far from the technology campus around 10 km. The quality of the food is also good in the canteen. Don't know about the mess.
Campus does not has its own playground but there's a playground in front of the campus so that's not the issue.
Faculty: There is a bit academic pressure, as university tries to make a individual the best form of himself.
The faculty members are too much experienced and supportive almost all of the professors are Ph.D. holders and many of them have worked / studied in foreign countries.
