The AAFT Noida is a Media and Communication Academy was founded in 1993. It is located in Film City Noida and is known for offering various UG, PG, diploma, and short-term courses in the fields of Cinema, Mass Communication, Animation, Fashion and Photography, among others. AAFT Popular Programmes 2025
The flagship course of AAFT is the BSc in Cinema offered by the Department of Cinema. BSc in Cinema at AAFT School of Cinema enables the students to gain a critical understanding of the art of acting and cinema as a whole. AAFT Admission Process and Important Dates 2025
Admission to all AAFT courses (UG, PG, integrated, diploma and others) is entrance-based. For admissions to AAFT, students must appear for AAFT GEE (AAFT Global Entrance Exam). Once the students clear the test, they need to appear for a personal interview round (direct or online). Eligible candidates can register online by visiting the official website of the university, fill it with requisite details and submit it. Students can also collect the form in person from the campus counselors.
For Bachelor’s degree programs and diploma courses, students who have passed or will appear for higher secondary (Class 12) from any recognised board of education such as CBSE/ ICSE/ IGCSE/ IB and State Board, can apply for admission. On the other hand, for Master’s degree programs and PG diploma courses, applicants must have appeared or passed in the respective undergraduate courses. AAFT Scholarships 2025
There is no mention of a scholarship on the AAFT's official website. However, the academy provides various discount and loan facilities. In the past, AAFT has provided a few international scholarships to its students in association with the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry. A ULCA scholarship was also bagged by students at AAFT. Under this system, PG students of ASMA and AAFT are awarded scholarships, and those who showcase excellent academic performance are awarded ULCA scholarships. AAFT, in collaboration with ULCA, offers this scholarship to deserving students who are in their second year of an MFA (Cinema) course.

Scholarship 1- In the past, in collaboration with the overseas Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry, AAFT offered a few overseas scholarships to its students. Students at AAFT also won a ULCA scholarship.
Scholarship 2- Under this approach, scholarships are given to PG students in ASMA and AAFT, while ULCA scholarships are given to individuals who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement. This grant is provided to outstanding students enrolled in a second-year MFA (Cinema) programme by AAFT in partnership with ULCA.
On the official website of AAFT, there is no mention of sholarships. However, AAFT Noida offers various discount and loan facilities. The total tuition fees for two-year MA programme at AAFT are between INR 2.52 lakh and INR 3.4 lakh for whole tenure of programme. The total amount includes tuition fees hostel fees and examination fees. The hostel fee amounts to about INR 3.12 lakh making total price between INR 5.64 lakh and INR 6.52 lakh for whole programme. Yes, an entrance exam is required for the BDes programme offered at AAFT. Candidates have to appear fro the AAFT Global Entrance Exam (AAFT GEE), which is an integral part of selection. However, candidates who clear this AAFT GEE get an invitation for a personal interview, which determines their potential to get enrolled in the programme.
The fee structure of BA courses varies with courses and course components at AAFT. The whole three-year aggregate tuition fee of the BA course ranges from INR 2.5 lakh to INR 5 lakh. It includes various fee components, such as tuition fees, hostel fees, medical insurance, mess charges, security deposits, etc. However, a few components are charged one-time, such as registration fees. The major facilities at AAFT include a screening theatre, film shooting floor, rehearsal hall, and outdoor shooting facility. In addition to this, AAFT also facilitates state-of-the-art equipment and labs, meeting and conference halls, amphitheater, and separate hostels for boys and girls.
