Yes, for admission to all of its courses, the college conducts an in-house entrance exam, i.e., the AAFT Global Entrance Exam (AAFT GEE). This exam is a mandatory and common step in the selection process. It is an aptitude test that includes objective-type questions based on general topics related to the applied course. Only the students who pass this exam are called for interview rounds and become eligible for admission.

To be eligible for BSc course admission, aspirants must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent exam. The Certificate shall be issued by a recognised board (CBSE/ICSE/IGCSE/IB or state board). In addition at time of form filling or admission student must have signed copy of mark sheet and pass Certificate of Class 12. Students appearing for class 12 final exams are also eligible to apply.

The application process in AAFT BHMTT is divided into different steps. Aspirants need to fill out the form, which can be downloaded from the official website. Students will have to sit for the AAFT GEE entrance examination. Those students who qualify through the AAFT GEE entrance exam will be able to present themselves in the personal interview round. Chosen students have to finalise all of the admission procedure, which includes the admission fee and other important documents. This is a structured approach because it involves carefully and step-by-step examining each candidate based on fit for the programme.
The admission for BHMTT under AAFT usually opens in October, and the admission period remains open till mid–July of the next year. Applications for the academic session of 2024–25 are already closed, and the new session has started in July for this year as well. Students interested in getting admissions for the academic session of 2025–26 should often check on the official website for the admission details. Even the official brochure, published by AAFT for the BHMTT programme, can be downloaded online by students.
