AAFT Course Admissions 2026: Dates, Fee, Eligibility & Selection Process

The fees at AAFT included one-time tuition and Hostel fees. However as of now one-time fee is not present. The fee varies according to programme and specialisation chosen by students. Students need to pay registration fee of INR 20,600 for a degree and INR 15,600 for a Diploma course table below contains details of AAFT fee:

BSc,  BA,  MSc and MA are the flagship courses of AAFT. These courses are taught across various popular specialisations such as Cinematography, Direction, Animation, Fashion Design, Jewellery Design, etc. The institute also offers multiple Diploma and certificate courses, which can be pursued by even high school graduates. Admission to all these courses is entrance-based.

At AAFT, more than 25 courses are offered at the UG, PG, Diploma and Short Term Programme. The courses are offered in multiple streams such as Animation, Design, IT & Software in various specialisations which include Acting, Advertising, Editing etc.

Admission to various courses is through AAFT GEE exam. After filling an online application form (on aaft. Com), students need to qualify the entrance exam for their respective courses. The final selection is done based on the performance of candidates in the Personal Interview . Selected students are required to pay the admission fee and submit all the important documents (if any pending) to confirm their seats.

The fee structure of BA courses varies with courses and course components at AAFT. The whole three-year aggregate tuition fee of the BA course ranges from INR 2.5 lakh to INR 5 lakh. It includes various fee components, such as tuition fees, hostel fees, medical insurance, mess charges, security deposits, etc. However, a few components are charged one-time, such as registration fees. No, candidates who are looking for UG course admission at AAFT University must appear for the entrance exam. Candidates must appear for the AAFT entrance exam followed by an interview. Aspirants also have to complete Class 12 as their basic educational qualification. 

Yes, for admission into BHM at AAFT, an entrance exam is required. Students must clear the AAFT Global Entrance Exam, which is essentially the initial test that the students are to undergo. This aptitude test of the students acts as a precursor to the PI round. Since only those matched with the requirements are eligible to apply for the BHM programme. This motivates the students to learn harder due to this highly competitive atmosphere, therefore resulting in favorable education outcomes.

AAFT Noida offers a BSc programme at the UG level. It is offered in full-time mode and is recognised by the UGC. The total tuition fee of BSc at AAFT Noida ranges between INR 4.3 Lacs and INR 8.1 lakh. 

The students can pay the fees for AAFT through various mediums. It is allowed to either make the payment online or by DD/ NEFT/ RTGS from the accounts office with prior acceptance of candidates; therefore, the facility of choosing a mode that suits best is available to the students. All instructions issued by the institution regarding payment should be closely followed for proper payment.

The institute course UG Diploma course in Unreal Engine, Animation and VFX and in many other respective fields. These courses can be pursued by class 12 pass outs or the students appearing for class 12 or equivalent examinations. At the time of form filling and admission, class 10 and class 12 pass certificate has to be submitted for verification.

No, students cannot make a partial payment to confirm their seat in the postgraduate course at AAFT. The shortlisted candidates are required to pay the full first-semester fee with all the applicable academic security fees by the date mentioned in the admission letter. This way all those financial commitments can be cleared in advance, ensuring a hassle-free admission process.
