AAFT is a great college for game design.

Placements: Good opportunities from reputed businesses. Students have gotten salaries ranging from 1.5 LPA to 6 LPA. Good offers in hub cities like Mumbai, Pune, Noida, and Gurgaon. 75 percent of students have been placed by now. The highest packages offered are 6 LPA.

Infrastructure: Good infrastructure with great computers. Fast Wi-Fi and Ethernet to handle the heavy files that Game Design and Animation students deal with. Projectors are available in class to facilitate teaching. Our workstations are equipped with 14th-gen Intel CPUs and rtx 4060 GPUs.

Faculty: Good curriculum designed by expert faculty. We learned all aspects of game design and the production pipeline, from game document design, pre-production, optimization, and live service operations. The semester exams are pretty easy if you pay attention in class.

Other: The college conducts good campus events.

Faculty are highly skilled and knowledgeable, and decent infrastructure.

Placements: About 60 percent of the students got placed. Companies such as Lakshay Digital offer placements. Game artist, level designer, and game programmer are offered as roles. The recruitment is offered mainly on the basis of the showreel, and the faculty members help build us a better showreel.

Infrastructure: Labs are equipped with decent computers that can run software like Unreal Engine. All labs are equipped with air-conditioners, and the labs are constantly developing according to the requirements, and also provide the latest software to work with for having knowledge of trends in the market.

Faculty: Teachers are extremely helpful in all the doubts, and also provide additional doubt sessions for better understanding. All the exams are in practical form, which means you will get prepared for an industry interview and on technical grounds. Hence all the exams are important for development.

Other: I chose this course as I want to learn about game development and design, also want to make my career in this domain, since the course is adapting all relevant industry standards, hence you may find new topics in every semester, which could be challenging, but it is necessary.

My AAFT review after 2 months.

Placements: I am currently in 1st semester, but I have heard from seniors that placements are good and have also seen seniors get placements. There are many top recruiting companies that come to the college, and there is 100% internship support for every student.

Infrastructure: The classes are very well kept, and all problems with the equipment are immediately addressed. Wi-Fi is available all around the campus. The library has a huge variety of books on various subjects. The hostel is also very good, they serve great food, and the rooms are cleaned daily.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, they personally address all doubts of the students. The course focuses on concepts and hands-on. It makes the students industry-ready and practicals are given priority. The exams are not very difficult. The passing percentage is 80%-85%.

Other: I have been playing games since I was young, so I chose this course. I have attended the freshers' party and design workshops. The events are a part of the curriculum.

A great college for students interested in designing courses and who are creative.

Placements: I've heard from my seniors that the placements are nice and if you have great record in your studies you will get one easily, I don't know much about placements because I am still studying and will pass out by 2022, but I have heard that placement opportunities are good.

Infrastructure: Every class and lab are fitted with AC and Wi-Fi, library is great too and contains books for all the courses available in college. I don't know anything about hostel and mess because I am a day scholar, but the college canteen could be improved.

Faculty: Faculty is amazing and ready to help always, they all are experienced. They all know what they are teaching and keeps giving insights about industry and helps you get ready for jobs and training purposes. There are teachers for every separate subjects.

Other: Every year international animation day is held here. I think the building and campus should be improved, or shifted to another place. Game designing has always been my passion since I was in school, I love playing games so I chose this.

The course is excellent.

Placements: The college offered us great placement opportunities. So far, we have been offered jobs in game art, which includes 2-D art and 3-D art, User Interface, and User Experience. We have been receiving job opportunities from all over, with tons of students participating.

Infrastructure: All the facilities provided by the college, such as food, Wi-Fi, and classrooms, have been great. All the labs that are provided work in excellent condition. The monitors and projectors are great and provide students with the learning opportunities they need.

Faculty: The curriculum was very informative. The course covered all aspects of game design. Everything at AAFT has a strong emphasis on both theory and practical exams. Both of these types of exams are challenging as they fully test your knowledge inside and out thoroughly.

Other: I have a passion for game design and development, so pursuing a B.Sc. in Game Design and Development was the perfect choice for me. The course has been excellent in teaching me important skills.
