I'm satisfied with AVMC as my UG college for MBBS.

Placements: Not many students are placed right after MBBS they also have to complete MD after that everybody gets placed using NEET PG examination. Companies recruit both in private and government sector. Top roles after MD starts with residence for 2-3 years both junior and senior.

Infrastructure: Hostels are fully air-conditioned with options of single rooms available. The whole college has Wi-Fi. Library is very good. Food quality is great and caters to both north and South Indian taste. The menu changes according to student feedback. All departments have very good equipment.

Faculty: Faculty members are helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is first class with all modern teaching tools. Course curriculum is relevant all according to NMC and prepares students for real-world problems. Semester exams are of standard difficulty with pass percentage of 50% as per NMC norms.

Candidate must have passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English individually and must have obtained mentioned percentage taken together in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology. In respect of PwBD candidates as per NMC and DCI Regulations, the minimum marks in the qualifying examination in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (or Botany & Zoology)/Biotechnology taken together shall be 40% instead of 50%. Candidates who have passed Class 12 from Open School or as private candidates shall not be eligible to appear for the ‘National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test’. However, this has been a subject matter of challenge before the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi, Hon’ble High Court of Allahabad, Lucknow Bench, and Hon’ble High Court of Madhya Pradesh at Jabalpur. Result awaited candidates can also apply,he/she shall not be eligible for admission to the Undergraduate Medical Courses if he/she does not pass the qualifying examination with the required pass percentage at the time of first round of Counselling.
