ABBS admissions are conducted online. The admission process consists of several steps, including online registration, application submission, and fee payment. The final selection is based on the candidate’s performance in the Acharya Bangalore B-School Scholastic Aptitude Test (ABBSSAT), previous academic records, and personal interview (PI). Steps included in the ABBS BSc admission process are mentioned below in detail:
Step 1: Online Application
The admission process starts with online registration and filling out an application form, which is available at application.abbs.edu.in/abbs-goi. The registration form includes the applicant's basic details such as name, contact details, selected course and specialisation. While filling out the application form, applicants must upload necessary documents such as exam scores, ID proof, and photographs. The application process ends with the payment of an application fee of INR 1,000.
Step 2: Selection Process
The selection process for undergraduate programmes at ABBS includes an aptitude test and an interview. ABBS conducts the Acharya Bangalore B-School Scholastic Aptitude Test (ABBSSAT) to admit students to the BSc courses. Candidates who perform well in the entrance exam are invited for a personal interview which is the second round of the selection process.
Step 3: Final Selection
The final selection is based on the candidate's performance in the ABBSSAT, the personal interview and their previous academic records. The institute releases a merit list of selected candidates. Shortlisted candidates are sent admission offers via email. They must accept the offer and pay the requisite fee within the stipulated time.
Step 4: Fee Payment
To confirm their admission to ABBS BSc courses, candidates must pay the first instalment of the fee. This amount will be deducted from the fees due for the first semester. The total ABBS BSc fee is INR 3 lakh. It must be noted that this fee is sourced from the official website of the institute/sanctioning body. It is still subject to change and hence, is indicative. This is the final step in the admission process. Selected candidates receive the admission confirmation and programme commencement dates via email.
