Placements: AJC Bose College in Kolkata, affiliated with Calcutta University, has a dedicated placement cell that assists students with their career opportunities. For better opportunities, students must work hard from day one. Otherwise, the degree will be useless. Currently, I’m pursuing B.A. in English Honours from this college. I would recommend you all to go for it. All our professors are very helpful and can assist you in achieving your goals. This will be a good choice for you all.
Infrastructure: AJC Bose College offers good infrastructure for its courses, including a huge collection of books in the library, well-equipped computer labs, visual representation of the topics, etc. All departments are good, and teachers are very helpful to their students. It also has canteen facilities, and the quality of food is acceptable and reasonable. There are a lot of varieties in the canteen menu. On the other hand, medical facilities are also available on the college premises.
Faculty: Currently, I’m pursuing a B.A. in English Hons. course from AJC Bose College, which is affiliated with Calcutta University. I just love my college faculty. Our college organizes a lot of curriculum activities, like freshers’ welcome, farewell party, etc., which can motivate people to attend the college on a regular basis. The examination of this college consists of internal assessment and end-semester examinations. The examination methods are also very good. My overall experience in this college is so good.

One of the most underrated colleges in Kolkata.
Placements: Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose College lacks placement opportunities for students, especially for those from general streams like English, Hindi, Bengali, and Political Science. However, Flipkart recruiters have visited commerce students, which makes it disappointing for students from other departments.
Infrastructure: The college has a Mathematics lab, Biology lab, and Geography lab for students to gain practical experience with the guidance of the faculty. There is also a canteen that offers good quality and hygienic food, a gym, a conference room, and a cultural hall.
Faculty: The teachers at AJCBC are highly capable of leading young students toward excellence. I have had helpful and friendly interactions with my professors, especially Debarghya Ganguly Sir, who has effectively led the class with a laissez-faire leadership style.
Other: The college has a fabulous fashion team known as "Celest" that has gained massive attention at inter-college fests and on Instagram.

Placements: Almost 60% of students from our course get placed. The highest salary offered is Rs. 40,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 30,000 per month. The average salary offered is Rs. 35,000 per month. Different IT companies recruit students from this college. About 65% of students from our course got an internship.
Infrastructure: There is a stable Wi-Fi connection in our college. All types of lab equipment are also available here. Classrooms are also cleaned daily, and the library has a huge stock of books. There is a huge canteen, and all types of food are available at a good price. Medical facilities are also available here.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable about their subjects and beyond the subject also. The course curriculum makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are so difficult and tricky. Almost 90% of students pass the exams in this course.

Review of Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose College.
Placements: Students who have an average academic percentage of 60%-80% can easily get admission to B.A in AJC Bose college. The highest fee was Rs. 15,000, where the lowest fee was Rs. 10,000. Overall, the average fee was Rs. 12,000, and students can get admission here easily. Top recruiting companies for AJC Bose college were TCS, Tech Mahindra, etc. Students who have an average academic percentage of 80%-90% get placements in such reputed companies if students are well skilled for placements. The top courses offered were B.A Hons, chemistry in English and in political science.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure here is quite good as there is also a formation of the new building. Wi-Fi is available, and labs are also quite decent. Classrooms are advanced as projectors are placed, and the library service is also good. The quality of the hostel is average, and the food provided by the canteen is good only. In terms of medical facilities, our college is average only as it could improve. Our college hardly focuses on sports and games.
Faculty: One thing I like about our college is the teachers are very much qualified and are well educated with very much high knowledge. Their teaching quality is fantastic. The course curriculum is very good and is improving from time to time also. I feel that it makes students industry-ready. Semester examinations are not very much difficult as students can pass easily after studying quite moderately. The pass percentage is 50%.
Other: I have chosen B.A as I feel that this is the best course for me in AJC Bose college. The best thing about this course it helped me to pursue my career. The thing that could get better is the syllabus, as I think a lot of things are needed to be included. In our college, the events are organised very rarely, and the fest is organised very rarely. The campus crowd is high, and the connectivity is great. Campus surroundings are well mannered, and scholarships are well provided. Extracurricular activities are rarely conducted in our college.

It is a good college, and you can opt for it. You can have a great academic year.
Placements: In our department, there are no placement offers, and companies didn't come for jobs. So, none of the students from our department got jobs from our college campus. There are also no internships. We didn't have any interviews or jobs.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are pretty good, and labs are also good. Wi-Fi is available. The library is very good with many books, and students can also take books for one or two weeks. The canteen is average, but there has been no hostel facility until now. Students can attend cricket and football matches which are organised by CU by selection.
Faculty: Our teachers are very good, and their knowledge and their process of teaching are very good. In the lockdown period, they took regular online classes. They gave their own notes to help us. Our college used to take exams in regular mode. They took class tests and internal exams regularly.
Other: Campus programs should be increased. There are no such programs that happened in few years very well.

General Classes: Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Timings: 7.00 TO 7.45 am, 7.45 TO 8.30, 8.30 TO 9.15.
