It is a good and worthy college for both personal and academic growth.
Placements: Placements are average and mainly depend on students’ individual skills, performance, and internships. Around 50–60% of students secure placements and internships. The highest package offered is around 6–7 LPA, while the average is 3–4 LPA. Recruiting companies are popular, but as I am not aware of the companies, I cannot specify them.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is spacious, clean, and aesthetically pleasing. It has a pond-like area where students can get some fresh air and relax. Classrooms are good, but a few classrooms still need some improvement. Library is very nice. It is well-stocked with all types of books and journals. Free Wi-Fi is available, as well as a canteen.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified. They are knowledgeable and supportive. Most teachers are friendly. They explain concepts clearly, and encourage critical thinking and further discussion. Semester examinations are strictly conducted. With consistent internal assessment and regular attendance, exams require serious preparation and academic discipline.
Other: Campus crowd is diverse. They are disciplined and academically focused. Students are from various backgrounds. It creates an open and engaging learning environment. Campus life is balanced with cultural events, seminars, and academic activities.

B.A. (Geography, Political Science, History) - Batch of 2025

Not to great not too poor, an average experience.
Placements: As I am a B.A. general student I don't have this kind of facility in my college that any faculty is offering us a job this is not possible. There is no chance of getting job after pursuing B.A. general course. I am only doing it for my graduation and that's it.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is very rich. There are Wi-Fi. Labs, classrooms, and library all work properly all are okay all are well maintained but there is no proper water facility for students. I mean, there are some water purifier but in summer it is hard to drink that hot water comes from the tank. So more improved water facility for students is needed.
Faculty: Students are helpful, qualified, knowledgeable, and more but the teaching quality particularly for the B.A. general course is so poor they only teach the necessary things which is needed to pass the examination. The course curriculum is okay but I don't find any practical relevance of it in the real world it may be my problem but this is my opinion the semester exams in college are not that tough not that easy. But those who check our exam copies for B.A. general don't give numbers according to the content of writing they just count pages.
Other: I chose this course because I am preparing for competitive examinations and I just need to graduate I know that my graduation degree will not help me but still a graduation is a graduation so I pursued it.

There is a college where we make memories.
Placements: I really don't know about the placements but the courses are good. We have human development, education, and philosophy. In our class, there are approximately 800 students. My main language is education and then philosophy, and after all of this human development, we also have MDC subjects.
Infrastructure: Our library has lots of books that we can study all of our subjects. I don't know why canteen is closed. But we have a huge campus, and in winter we play games there. We have a basketball ground. We have lots of things, and we like the ambiance.
Faculty: Our teachers are really helpful we often do classes. We can text them and they reply to us if we have any queries. Before exams, they provide suggested notes and which are really helpful. The current percentage I don't know but we have to mark 20 above.
Other: Our college has scholarship facilities and it is really helpful to the staffs. Teachers are really helpful. But I think we need more classes that will be great. Our canteen should be open.

An honest first-year review of Acharya Prafulla Chandra College
Placements: There is no established cell for placement in the college. Only students who get placed often assist those who were not placed through their connections. The committee has been trying to formally establish an effective cell. However, it has not yet been completed by the administration.
Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure is above average, with classrooms, an auditorium, a common room, cultural fests, lift facilities, a library, and sports facilities. Both indoor and outdoor games, like football, cricket, etc., are available and can be played to have a good time with students.
Faculty: Faculty is really nice, with many expert professors who extend their knowledge and support to students when needed. This makes students really motivated to study and pass the rigorous course curriculum. Especially during practical excursions or scientific visits, they help us a lot in going through difficulties. Overall, the semester exams become easier with the lecture notes and suggestions provided by teachers.

My overall experience at Acharya Prafulla Chandra College.
Placements: 12th pass students can apply for this course. There is no stream needed. The highest package is Rs. 30,000. There are no internships at companies for internships. Talent is needed for an internship, not a percentage. For the course of Journalism and Mass Communication, the roles are reporting, radio jockeys, and content writers.
Infrastructure: The canteen is good. The food quality is good and the price is very reasonable. I don't live in the hostel, that's why I can't say anything about it.
Faculty: The teachers are very good, helpful, qualified, and friendly. They are like our friend. Teacher and student bonding is like friendships in college. The quality of the teaching is good. They provide us with good lessons and practical classes, which make students industry-ready. The semester exam is easy, you have to study for the semester exam and prepare yourself. The CGPA is above 7.
Other: The course is good because there are many opportunities, like anchoring, TV reporting, content writing, etc. I think the lab and practical classes should be improved a little bit. There are many fests like college fest, Holi fest, etc.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: 79% of students got placements in our course. The highest salary was 3 LPA in our course. The lowest salary was 1.5 LPA in our course. Every student got the chance for internships. HR and office managing courses were offered in our course.
Infrastructure: The college offered table and Wi-Fi connection for labs and PPT presentations. In classrooms, we had huge amount of students who could sit there. Hostel food was also very delicious with fresh vegetables. We also had the facilities of medical like if any students felt physically unit they could consult in our medical rooms.
Faculty: Teachers were very qualified and very helpful. They helped us with our class work, and the way they taught us was very understandable. If students studied every day and the notes given by the teachers then semester exams would be very easy for us.
Other: This college had qualified faculty members. If you followed their notes, you did not need to take private tuition. Events and fests were also very enjoyable and full of entertainment.
