The college accepts various entrance exam scores, such as CAT/CMAT/KMAT/GATE/KEAM/AMIE and others for admission to UG and PG courses. Further, to be eligible for admission, applicants also need to pass Class 10 and Class 12 for admission to UG courses and graduation degree for admission to PG courses.

Adi Shankara Institute of Engineering and Technology accepts Class 12 in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) put together with 45% aggregate from a recognised board for admission to undergraduate i.e., BTech courses. Further, to be eligible for admission candidates are required to apply and appear for the accepted entrance exam i.e. KEAM.
