Yes, AIET admission to MBA is entrance-based. The college admits students based on scores of national/ state-level entrance exam. Aspirants must qualify for either PGCET/ KMAT/ CAT/ MAT entrance exams. Further, they also need to appear for PI round to get admission. 

To get a seat in AIET, the candidates need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria for the course of their choice. They need to apply for entrance exams such as KCET, COMED-K, PGCET, CAT, MAT, or KMAT, depending on the course. Once they are eligible for the exam, they need to undergo the counseling process and appear for the personal interview round. Admission is confirmed on the basis of entrance scores, interview performance, document verification, and payment of fees.

No, AIET admission is entirely entrance-based. Direct admission is not valid for UG & PG courses at the college. Aspirants need to qualify for any state/ national-level entrance exams such as PGECT, KCET, MAT, CAT, etc.,   for admission to respective courses. The final selection will be based on entrance exam scores and candidates' performance in PI round.

The Training and Placement Department of the institute conducts pre-placement training on soft skills such as group discussion, aptitude tests, public speaking etc. The general pre-placement training is incorporated into the regular academic timetable by all the departments from the second year itself.
