Getting admission in Ambala College of Engineering and Applied Research is relatively easy. The college takes candidates on the basis of JEE Main scores for the B.E. / B.Tech, and some candidate may get admission based on their merit in the 10+2 level. However, competition tends to vary with different branches, subject to the requirement of that branch, and depends on the number of students applying. Overall, however, the admission process isn't particularly that tough. However, good students of JEE or excellent academic records are preferred, especially for the most sought-after streams like Computer Science and Electronics. Direct admission is through management quota seats.
