Review of Amity School of Communication, Amity University, Noida.
Placements: Journalism and mass communication is a vast course at Amity University. They have included subjects which cover all of your aspects. No internships are provided yet but soon, they will provide. No salary packages have been offered yet. No information about the companies has been provided yet.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the hostel is good. There are separate hostels for both boys and girls. Air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned hostel rooms are also there. Proper security is also available for the students, but the fee for the hostel is quite high and the timings are also not good. Students can't go for an outing even on weekends because of time restrictions and on weekdays, they are not allowed to leave campus.
Faculty: Faculty members at Amity are friendly and understanding. They help us whenever a student needs help. They provide guidance. The teaching quality is also good. Semester exams are not that difficult. In fact, they are quite easy. Sometimes, I feel teachers are not helpful or sympathetic towards students. They are very rude sometimes, even if we explain our situation to them.
Other: I chose this course because I had an interest in writing and photography since the start. The best things about this course are fieldwork and experience. Every 2-3 months, a fest happens. They are quite amazing.

Absolutely satisfied with the college faculty and infrastructure.
Placements: The placement percentage is not 100% but one can say its satisfactory. Campus placements are provided. Famous production houses, news companies and advertising agencies recruit students from the campus. There might be that some students are not getting their desired package, but it's all a part of the process.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the labs and hostel is good. The quality of food is average but rest everything is satisfactory. Labs and classrooms are well-equipped and ventilated. A medical room is provided in case of emergencies and there are good opportunities for athletes.
Faculty: The faculty of Amity University is quite good. The teachers know their subjects quite well. The exams are not too tough if a student has gone through the material provided to them by the teachers. The pass percentage in my course is 95%.
Other: Bachelors of journalism and mass communication is an interesting course with various options available for the students. As such there is nothing that I would want to change about this course. Amity holds various events, quiz and fest for the students to interact and engage with each other.

Absolutely satisfied, amazing faculty, great infrastructure
Placements: 79% of students were placed. The highest package was 16 lac and the lowest was 5 lac. Top recruiting companies were Biryani Blues, and Hindustan Times. Internships had been great. Roles offered were that of news editor, anchor, radio jockey, reporter, etc. Even in 1st year you can apply for internship and get selected as per your caliber. I got mine as a management trainee in Biryani Blues.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is amazing, wifi works pretty well inside the campus. We’ve labs to do the computerized work, and our department even has a student lounge ( wherein students can chill for a while). Classrooms are very huge. The back support of some chairs are broken, but it doesn’t make it uncomfortable. I didn’t apply for the hostel. Amity has its own 24X7 clinic.
Faculty: The teachers in my course are very helpful and friendly. They’re highly qualified with a Ph.D. degree and once you talk to them you realise you’re talking to a highly knowledgeable person. The course is absolutely relevant and it surely makes the students industry ready. Exams are of average level. One can easily get good marks by studying effectively. The pass percentage is 40%.

I strongly recommended you to join this college. It's the best for BJMC.
Placements: The placements offered are really up to the mark and from very reputed companies. You need to polish your skills and get good grades to earn your desired placement. Amity also provides us with several internships and other vocational courses that could help us develop a better resume.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is impressive, especially in the new buildings like ASD (amity school of design) and ABS (amity business school). The classes are fully air conditioned. The ASD department has specialised classes for the design students. The ASCO department has really great labs on the third floor where students can learn more than the books could ever teach.
Faculty: The curriculum is updated, and they teach more and beyond books. Some teachers really take it up a notch. In my personal experience, my Marketing and Political studies teachers are my favorites. They have helped me visualize the words written in the books.
