Is MBA certificate from Amity University Distance Education valid for Ph.D./M.Phil.?

As Amity University is recognised by UGC Council it meets all the necessary requirements of the governing council. However, I am not sure whether Ph.D. or M.Phil programs will accept distance mode certificate as they'll look for the candidates who did full time programs.
