Really good facilites there.
Placements: You won't be getting any placement after your B.A. programme. The three year programme includes American literature, History of English literature, prose, drama, phonetics, Indian literature and different types of electives like teaching, translation, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available 24/7 at the campus as well as the hostel. Quality of food is above average. Medical facilities are available and canteen provides you with good quality food with a lot of varieties. There are many sports events as well. The campus focuses on every extra curricular activities.
Faculty: The college provides a number of highly qualified professors and the quality of teaching is very professional. You will get an opportunity to mold yourselves into a better individual there. The teachers are very friendly and they will support you at any point of your studies. They not only focus on teaching students, but they also try to mold you into a better person as well!
Other: There are lots of events like Anokha fest, Amritosava, etc. Through these events you get a lot of exposure and can learn new things as well. The campus is very eco friendly and you get to experience a peaceful life there.

If you are a non-vegetarian, food will be an issue. It has amazing faculty and a beautiful campus.
Placements: About 90% of the students got placements from our course, but most of them opted for higher studies like a PhD in foreign universities later. The average salary offered is around Rs. 30,000 per month. Academically top 1% of students got salary packages of around 20 LPA. Companies like Wipro, Infosys and Google are some of the top recruiters here.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is amazing, and the sceneries are great with an amazing sunset. Our college is built below the Western Ghats range and is really beautiful. Our college has its own Olympic size swimming pool and two well-equipped gyms, an indoor sports club with badminton and table tennis. There is a tennis court. There is also a huge library with all kinds of books, and you also get electronic access to all books in the library with the university's private software. Our college also has 2 main canteens with amazing vegetarian food, and Amrita University is strictly vegetarian. It also has a good clinic with good medical facilities. Our college also has 1 huge main ground and 3 small grounds. The entire university is spread over a total of 400 acres.
Faculty: The courses offered here are top-notch, and the teaching is really good. The course outcomes and syllabus are industry-oriented and provide skills which give students a competitive edge in the future market. Most of the faculty members here are well qualified, but there are a few bad faculty members in every good university. The curriculum offered is a bit huge compared to government colleges, but it's not much difficult. The exams are moderately difficult and mainly focus on making you understand the basics of the subject. Only a very few students have backlogs in the exams, and it is common in all colleges.
Other: Our college has a great reputation, and we must consider college as an investment in our life. Amrita University is a very new college with just 18 years of history, but its development in this short period of time is great. So, this university has a great future ahead, so considering that we are from such a reputed college would be a great standard.

Review on M.A. Communication course in Amrita Vishwa Vidhyapeetham.
Placements: The college provides internships for this course. 90% of the alumni have been placed through placements and internships. Hiring from companies like Zoho, Times of India, Times Now, Disney, Reuters, Indian Parliament, and Amrita TV. Top roles offered are public relations officer, advertising, creative head, and journalism. The lowest paid is 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our campus is well-maintained. Good infrastructure and facilities are there. We also have lifts. Hostel accommodations are decent and the hostel food is not so good. Clean and hygienic canteen with veg and non-veg food. Decent menu in the canteen. Labs libraries and other classroom facilities are available. All classrooms are equipped with digital screen facilities.
Faculty: Exams are difficult and the curriculum is also a bit difficult. Students face a lot of academic pressure, exams research, seminars, and projects. Curriculum of some subjects is not updated. Faculty members are qualified and experienced.

Overall Amrita is a decent college with little drawbacks.
Placements: Placements in our college are pretty bad. More than 60% of students get offer letter during the internship time. It is easy for other departments to attract companies. Being a small department college, it shows less concern regarding placement. Companies which visit for placements are mostly for IT, which is very disappointing.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is pretty decent. College provides one heck of an ambience. College mess is very poor, but the hostel facilities are pretty good. Students are provided with Wi-Fi, 24x7 water supply and electricity. Even for sports, the infrastructure is very good.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are PhD holders, but still few of them don't have the knowledge, but still, somehow got the job. The teaching method is based on PPT, and for more, you have to rely on the internet or library. Teachers do encourage doubt. The course curriculum for B.A. is pretty tough.

I am absolutely satisfied with my college experience.
Placements: The placement sessions are not really attractive here. Companies like Amazon, Mckinsey and other print and broadcast firms conduct placements yearly. Based on individual performance, students are selected directly to join the company or are qualified for limited-time programmes. Every student is provided with an additional internship facility in their field of interest after completing the second year of the course. The field of interest and the company can be of our choice, but the faculty incharge will verify the details and performance. The department will also assist the students.
Infrastructure: There is a fully functioning digital library with E-journals and printed publications, OPAC search facilities, and associate guides in each section. There are specific buildings for each department of studies. There are research labs, digital studio, a sufficient amount of IT labs, digital classrooms. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. There are also gym, huge ground for sports, dispensary, 4 fully functioning canteens, additional night cafeterias, hostel facilities, hangars and swimming pool.
Faculty: There are specific faculty for each subject. They provide additional training for mediocre students to excel. The course curriculum is really satisfaction as it contains in-depth research programmes and paper publication. It also involves practical application in the media field, where students can associate with a company known as a media project.
Other: The college organises internationally acclaimed technical event Anokha, Gokulashtami, Amritotsavam, inter-campus sports meet, sports day, institution day, technical and non-technical workshops. Scholarship programmes for research as well as for current studies are provided.

Absolutely worth the money you pay for.
Placements: The Mass Communication course doesn't have placements unlike the engineering course. So yes, there are no highest, lowest, or average packages offered in the courses. While there are companies that go through the personal connections of the faculty members, like Google, Amrita TV, and media advertising agencies including Indian Parliament.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi is quite good but isn't available in every region. Being a day scholar, I am not familiar with the hostel food, but my hostel friends told that the mess food wasn't that good. The library has lots of books and is of top-notch quality. The computer labs aren't that high class but have required equipment.
Faculty: The teachers and faculty members are qualified and have the educated knowledge, but there is a lack of taking the classes among the selected faculty members. The curriculum is relevant and it makes the students perfectly aligned with the industry. Simple and application-based practical assignments have been done earlier.
Other: Events like Onam and Gokulashtami enhance the campus life.
