No. The candidates are advised not to send a hard copy of online AEEE application form to the University. However, the candidates are advised to retain the hard copy of the application, i.e., the acknowledgement page, for future reference or correspondence, if any. The AEEE 2026 application form will be considered as complete only after the requisite application cost is made by the means specified.
Admission to BTech Programmes offered at Amrita School of Engineering is based on the rank scored in JEE Main and AEEE. 70% of the seats are allotted via AEEE scores, and the rest of the 30% are filled based on JEE Main ranks. A candidate can apply either through AEEE or JEE Mains 2025 individually or even select both. Amrita also provides a 75% fee waiver for the AEEE and JEE Main toppers. The Amrita Entrance Examination Engineering (AEEE) is an entrance test conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham for admission into its BTech course. Students can check the detailed process below:

- Exam Format: The exam consists of multiple-choice questions in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

There are no intructions regarding the type of print out needed at the exam hall of AEEE. Thus candidates can carry wither black and white or a coloured one. But, candidates must check the instructions on the admit card before printing it out. If the instructions mentions the type of print out needed then follow the same. Make sure the print is clear and all details are readable.
To enrol for the BTech course, students must meet the eligibility criteria set by the college. Candidate should pass in Class 12 or its equivalent examination from a recognised board with a minimum 60% aggregate of marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and with not less than 50% in each of these three subjects, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
