Q:   Can I expect good salary after doing M.Tech in CSE?
A:

The average M.Tech CSE salary for fresh postgraduate students is somewhere between 4 and 7 Lakh. For mid-senior level positions, the salary range is slightly higher on the basis of the experience and skills acquired by the individuals over a few years. Their salary would be between INR 7 LPA and INR 10 LPA. For senior-level management positions, the salary in the CSE field is more than INR 10 LPA and can go up to INR 20 LPA as well because of the demand for CSE professionals in this age of digitalization.

An honest review by a student of Anjuman College of Engineering.
Placements: The average percentage of placement may be across 50 to 60 percent of student who score better. The highest package should be 10 LPA and the minimum 2 LPA or 2.5 LPA. The average package should be 4 LPA. Maybe 20 to 30 percent of students got internships in companies like Tata Capital, Infosys, local companies of the city, etc. They also provide site visits for practical knowledge. In the electrical branch we can go to a job in the government sector like MSEB, the railway sector, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average not many or many bad classroom laboratories. The library is not very hi-tech but average. Anjumam do not have any official hostel or canteen but is good at sports and games and promotes sports and athletic activities.
Faculty: Teachers are well-educated and experienced. Mostly Ph.D. teaching as well as non-teaching staff (lab assistants) are also educated. They provide the best teaching. They provide all practical and ground practices as they can. The university has to make the syllabus more practical. Passing is not that hard and semesters and courses are easy and prepared on time. The average passing percentage of students must be above 70 percent. Faculty members are the best ever.
Other: The college really provides education and presents a central location in the middle of the city like the market and other changing places are not so far it is in the middle of the city.

Overall, I am very satisfied with the college and faculty members.
Placements: Around 30-40 percent of students are placed in the B. Tech CSE course. The highest package 12 LPA, lowest 2 LPA, and average 3-4 LPA, while top companies include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Teach Mahendra, etc.,. About 70 percent of students got internships in companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, IBM for roles such as software developer, systems engineer, IT engineer, and programmer analyst.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi works well, labs and classrooms are clean and well-maintained. All computers are working, and the library is very good and quiet, while hostel facilities are unknown to me but my friend staying there is satisfied.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, provide assistance when needed. Maintain good teaching quality, follow a relevant curriculum, and help students become industry ready, with semester exams moderately difficult and a pass percentage above 35 percent.

Best college in sadar, Nagpur.
Placements: Around 80% of students have been placed in CSE. The highest package in the year 2024 was about 12 LPA, and the average package is around 4 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Mahindra, etc. Around 90% of students get internships in software development, data science, etc.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well-maintained with digital boards and Wi-Fi facilities. The labs are top-class, and the library has a well-maintained seating arrangement with no disturbances. The college doesn't have its own canteen and hostel, but because of the Sadar region outside the college, there are many shops nearby.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful with outstanding experience. The college prepares students for placements, and around 70% of students pass exams. It has a strict staff who work as volunteers during exams, and there are many extracurricular activities like sports, etc.
Other: It has one of the best fests known as Celestial, which includes full fun activities and much more fun.

Decoding Anjuman College of Engineering and Technology Nagpur.
Placements: If I consider out of 100 students, at least 50-60 students get placements, but students must be eligible for placement, as if students don't have the required skills for cracking the interview, they cannot sit in campus placements, and you should maintain a CGPA of at least above 7 for college placement, as the college does not accept students with a lower CGPA.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi facility for first-year students, the classrooms are spacious, the college does not have hostel facilities, you will need to find rented rooms or PGs nearby, and there is no canteen in the college, but you can find everything from stationary to snacks shops just outside the college.
Faculty: The faculty is very cooperative and helpful, the lab assistants are also very supportive during practical sessions, and this course primarily provides practical knowledge about specific skills, and you need to learn additional skills by yourself to become industry-ready.
Other: I am a 2023 batch student, and the college hosts culture fests, celestial events, and other activities, it also focuses on extracurricular activities and has a section for scholarship.

Good college, but it is not an autonomous college and doesn’t have a canteen available here.
Placements: The percent of placed students is 20-30 percent. The highest package offered is 12 LPA, and the lowest package offered is 2 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS, Wipro, etc. There isn’t a seating area for students; only the garden is available to sit and relax, but the guards don’t allow sitting in the garden.
Infrastructure: Anjuman College of Engineering and Technology is a good college, but it is not an autonomous college. We don't have any canteens available here, and no Wi-Fi is available for the classes. The college is okay. My personal rating for the college is 6 out of 10.
Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful; whatever we need, they give their best to us. Every teacher is well qualified with a Ph.D. degree. The course curriculum is relevant to me as I learn many things. Semester exams are moderately difficult, and the pass percentage is above 4.5 GPA.
Other: My course, AIDS, is a trending field that combines aspects of CS and Electronics. To improve the syllabus, I believe the AI portion should be more precise and in-depth. I am hopeful that these improvements will be implemented in the future.

Anjuman College honest review, located in Central India.
Placements: Artificial Intelligence and Data Science are the new branches in my college. So 2024–25 will be the first year of placement for my branch. As long as you see all the other branches in my college, the placements are not too many, and even I am not satisfied with those companies and their packages.
Infrastructure: If we talk about the infrastructure, for our course, we have a classroom and a lab. The lab is better, it has many computers with Windows 11, Wi-Fi, and even AC to keep the lab cool. But if we talk about the classroom, then it is the worst, uncomfortable desks and benches, no AC or cooler, and even small.
Faculty: Faculty members are good in nature and behaviour, but I am not satisfied with their teaching. I can say one thing: it can actually get better. As for exams, the centre we get to give exams is too far away from home.
Other: The crowd is satisfying, but the campus is too small.
