JEE Main 2027 OTP Problem
JEE Main OTP Problem: National Testing Agency (NTA) releases JEE Main application form online at the official website. During JEE Mains registration, students will be required to provide an OTP sent to their registered mobile number for verification purpose. The OTP message will be sent to the number registered with the candidate's Aadhaar or DigiLocker account. While students are expected to receive their JEE Main OTP without much issue, there may be instances where they face problems in receiving the same.

How to access Aadhaar Number or DigiLocker Account for JEE Main Registration?
Students should keep their Aadhaar Number, which will be available on their Aadhaar Card for the JEE Main 2027 application form process. In case Aadhaar card is still awaited, students can also use their Aadhar Enrollment Number, which is a unique number provided to candidates when they register for the same.
For JEE Main DigiLocker registration, students will have to go to the official website and register with their mobile number (linked with Aadhaar). After entering the details and completing verification, the DigiLocker account will be created. Students should ensure their Aadhaar Card, marksheets, caste certificates and more are updated in the DigiLocker account.
How to Resolve JEE Main OTP Problem?
There may be various scenarios due to which students do not receive JEE Main OTP to fill out the online application form. Some of the possible reasons are listed below.
- Heavy Load in NTA Server: Students may be facing issues due to heavy load in the NTA server. In such cases, they should be patient and fill out the form later. Students can also try completing registration during late hours or early morning.
- Check Spam: Students should check their spam or junk folder in case the OTP has been moved.
- Mobile Number Linked with Aadhaar: It is essential for the mobile number to be linked with Aadhaar Number. If not, they will not receive the OTP.
- Alternative Browser: Students can try alternative browsers to complete JEE Main registration.
- Contact NTA: In case the problem continues, students should immediately contact the NTA helpdesk for resolution.
How to Apply for JEE Main 2027?
Students can apply for JEE Mains only in online mode. JEE Main application form 2027 will be released online. No offline applications will be accepted. To apply, students can check here how to fill the JEE Mains form 2027.
- Go to official website jeemain.nta.nic.in
- Click on NTA JEE Mains 2027 Registration link
- Students will have to register with required basic details.
- Once logged in, they will have to fill the required details and create a login password of their choice
- Click on request for OTP button
- Students will receive the OTP in their mobile number
- Enter the OTP to complete registration process
After registration, students will receive the registration number in their mobile number. Students have to login using the registration number and password they created to fill the application form.

- Pay JEE Mains form fees
JEE Main application form 2027 will be submitted automatically after the application fee is paid. Students should download and take a printout of the filled form.
What are the Documents Required for JEE Mains Application Form 2027?
Students need to have the following documents to fill JEE Main application form.
- Valid Email & Mobile Number: Required to receive official verification and confirmation messages from the NTA.
- Class 10 Certificate/Mark Sheet: Mandatory educational proof.
- Aadhaar Card: For identity verification.
- Scanned Photograph & Signature: Must match the required dimensions and file size. A live photo will also be captured via webcam during registration.
- OBC-NCL/EWS Certificate Details: Candidates must provide the issue date and issuing authority's name. (Uploading the certificate is not required; only the details must be entered).
- PwD/PwBD Certificate: Scanned copy must be uploaded by eligible candidates.
- Payment Details: Net banking, credit card, debit card, or UPI details to pay the JEE Main 2027 application fee.

The last date to complete the JEE Main 2027 session 2 registration will be in February 2027.
For general students 60 marks is not good enough for admission in top NITs or IIITs. 60 marks will be around 80 percentile and will give rank between 1.5 and 2.5 lakhs.
NTA will release JEE Mains 2027 session 1 application form in October 2026.

The schedule of JEE Main 2026 application form has been announced on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. NTA released the JEE Main application form 2026 on October 31, 2025. JEE Main 2026 session 2 application form will be released around last week of January and the last date to apply will be February last week. Candidates can check this page as well as the JEE Main website for regular updates on of JEE Main registration dates.
NTA has not announce the JEE Main 2024 form fill up date. However, it is expected that the application forms will be released in December. The tentative JEE Main 2024 application form date session 1 is December first week. JEE Main application form 2024 will be available online on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in 2024. Interested candidates will be able to apply from the official website. JEE Main 2024 registration last date will be last week of December or January first week. As the exam will be conducted in two sessions, NTA will release separate application forms for both the sessions.
Candidates who mistakenly fill any details wrong can modify/correct the details during JEE Main application correction facility. NTA allows the candidate to make corrections after the last date of application process. To make corrections, candidates need to login on the JEE Main official website during the specified dates and modify the details. In case candidate has entered wrong category, he/she may need to apy the application fee as per the new category. Other details like photo, signature, exam centre preference, paper choice, address can also be changed during the correction window.
