Good teaching and faculty, but placements are disappointing.

Placements: About 60 percent of students are placed in my course. The highest package offered is 6–7 LPA, and the lowest package is 3–4 LPA. Top recruiters include Tech Mahindra, Wipro, etc. About 90 percent of students get internships conducted by Vision Computers Organization in Vijayawada. The top role offered is Accountant.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is acceptable but not excellent. Wi-Fi is not available. Science labs and library are available, though the library and labs are small. Classrooms are spacious with open air, fans, lights, and projectors. Hostel, food mess, canteen, and limited medical facilities are available.

Faculty: The teachers are qualified and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is good but not perfect. The course is relevant, but to be industry-ready, students need to pursue additional internship programs such as Tally, Excel, and other courses. Semester exams are very easy, with about 96 percent pass percentage.

Other: I choose this course because I am very fond of and interested in accounts and taxation. Some subjects are irrelevant, so changing the syllabus is necessary. There is an event every 2 years conducted by ICMAI Vijayawada, a sports meet every year, and farewell and freshers events. The surroundings are good. Scholarships are only provided by the government, and extracurricular activities are limited.
