It's an average B.Ed. college, but the experience feels much more enriching than regular B.Ed.
Placements: Our college provides 100% placement and offers a starting package of ₹25,000 per month, which is the lowest and also the average package after B.Ed. Top recruiters include schools like DPS, Seth M. R. Jaipuria, and Alpine World School. In the third semester, we are required to do an unpaid internship as part of our coursework. The college arranges internships in local schools such as Kaushalya World School and Sanfort World School, as well as in APS (Army Public School) branches like APS Noida and APS Delhi, or any other preferred location. During internships, we mostly substitute for classes.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure, including classrooms with Wi-Fi and AC, is good. They provide all necessary books, sports equipment like TT and badminton, and the hostel offers unlimited Wi-Fi and 24/7 electricity. However, the quality of food in the hostel is very poor. Although the menu is diverse, the taste is lacking.
Faculty: The teaching staff is average; some are good while others are not. However, we must cooperate with them as they assess our internal marks based on our participation and contributions to the college. The curriculum is comprehensive, providing us with enough knowledge to qualify for the CTET Paper 2. Exams, both internal and external, are manageable, and our batch averages above 80%.
Other: I chose this college primarily for its 100% placement guarantee, as no other college offers such assurance in a B.Ed. program. The one improvement I would suggest for this college is to enhance the quality of its food, which is currently very poor.

Our college is very good.
Placements: Almost 95% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary offered is Rs. 45,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 22,000 per month. Top recruiting schools are Dalhousie School and Mayo School. The top role offered is a teacher.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good infrastructure and facilities. Our college provides facilities like labs, a library, a mess, a canteen, etc. The food served in the mess and canteen is average. Our college has a neat hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and highly qualified. Their teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant. If you study well, you can pass exams. Semester and internal exams are easy. The pass percentage is 50%.
Other: I opted for this course because I want to become a teacher.

    Students also asked

    Q:   Which courses can I do after a D.Ed.? Should I do a BSc or B.Ed?
    ShikshaGPT says
    A:

The best choice depends on your career aspirations:

    ·       If you want to become a teacher: Opt for a B.Ed. It's the mandatory qualification for teaching in most schools.

    ·       If you want to pursue a career in research or a science-related field: A BSc would be more suitable. It provides a strong foundation for further studies and specialised careers.

    ·       If you're unsure: Consider your interests and skills. Do you enjoy teaching and interacting with students? Or are you more drawn to scientific exploration and research?

    Additional options:

    ·       M.Ed.: If you already have a B.Ed., you can pursue a Master of Education for career advancement or specialisation in a particular teaching area.

    ·       Diploma courses: Various specialised Diploma courses in education or related fields can enhance your skills and knowledge.

    AskShikshaGPT on App
Q:   Can a B.Ed subject and graduation subject be different?
    ShikshaGPT says
    A:

The B.Ed subjects and graduation subject are separate. Every B.Ed college follows the NCTEs approved syllabus. All universities offer theory papers that cover topics such as educational philosophy, educational psychology, school administration, learning theories, educational thinkers etc., even though the titles and authors of the books may vary. Additionally, methodological papers are required for all B.Ed. courses, and they require you to select one school topic and one language.
According to the regulations, a student must have completed at least two school topics in order to be admitted to a B.Ed program. However a lot of universities ignore these requirements and admit students.
The issue appears when you apply for a government job after finishing the training. (KVS, NVS, and so forth).
