At the Cumulus Conference 2026 in Athens, ARCH Founder & Director Ms. Archana Surana led insightful discussions on Women in Design, highlighting the importance of inclusion, cultural intelligence and responsible innovation in shaping the future of design education. The session reinforced a simple yet powerful belief: technology alone cannot define the future of design. At ARCH, we champion a creative education that balances AI with human insight, innovation with sustainability, and progress with purpose.

DESIGN DHARA 2026 WORKSHOP:

As part of its Open Days initiative, ARCH College welcomed over 75 students from Classes XI and XII from Cambridge Court, Children’s Academy, Tagore International School, and Subodh Public School for an immersive introduction to design education. Through engaging workshops in natural dyeing, woodcraft, 3D printing, and jewellery making, students experienced the creative process firsthand. 26th Foundation Day: A Celebration of Artisanal Excellence

Some hands do more than create beautiful objects they preserve culture, tradition, and generations of knowledge. On its 26th Foundation Day, ARCH honoured 12 master women artisans with the Women in Design Artisanal Excellence Awards, celebrating their contribution to India’s rich craft heritage. Representing traditions such as Meenakari, Block Printing, Blue Pottery, Lac Craft, Kathputli, and weaving, these artisans embody resilience, creativity, and cultural legacy. The awards recognised both their craftsmanship and the enduring value of indigenous knowledge in shaping contemporary design. At ARCH, we believe the future of design is rooted in heritage, where craft, culture and innovation come together.

MASTERCLASS by Nidhi Agarwal
Unsure about what comes next? Students discovered how design can unlock exciting career opportunities at an exclusive masterclass by ARCH alumna Nidhi Agarwal Beauty & Lifestyle Influencer, Founder of Vadhini by Nidhi & creator of the Glow Circle Community. Drawing from her entrepreneurial journey, Nidhi shared insights on building a personal brand, navigating the creative industry, and finding one’s unique voice. Nasha: Ek Galat Raasta
Awareness begins with a single choice. At Patrika Gate, Jaipur, ARCH students transformed a public space into a platform for meaningful dialogue through “Nasha: Ek Galat Raasta”, a compelling street play on drug abuse. Using powerful storytelling, relatable characters, and real-life situations, they encouraged audiences to pause, reflect, and consider the lasting impact of addiction on individuals, families, and communities. The performance demonstrated how design extends beyond classrooms and studios, becoming a medium for empathy, communication, and social change. At ARCH, we believe creativity has the power to inspire action, spark conversations, and help build a healthier, more responsible society.

3 Best Paper Presentation Award Participation in global platforms reflects ARCH’s vision for research-driven design education and experiential learning. We congratulate our students for representing ARCH College of Design & Business with excellence and pride.

Experiential Learning in Interior Design
What does 45 days of immersive design learning look like? For ARCH’s Interior Design students, it meant documenting heritage sites including Madhavendra Palace, Jaigarh Fort and Sawai Man Singh Town Hall for their Adaptive Reuse Capstone Project. Guided by Ar. Radhaye Chopde, students combined on-site research with studio drafting, material exploration, model making and AI-powered tools. The journey culminated in an exhibition showcasing heritage documentation, adaptive reuse proposals and innovative design solutions—reflecting the power of experiential, industry focused learning.
